Hovering around 127.5 this morning, though I don't know if I'm recording that as an "official" weight for the day since I weighed at a different time than I normally do. Still, my eating plan (though it's making me crabby!) is still steadily working.

I slacked on exercise yesterday due to a headache. I vow not to slack after work tonight!

Well, CRAP.

I think I went over my limit today for the stupidest of possible reasons. I eat in my college dining hall, and usually this means I can check nutrition labels and calorie-log religiously, but today I messed up TWICE: once because I ate tempeh without checking the label (it's tempeh!) before finding out it's 600 calories for 6 oz (!!!)... once because the label was misprinted at 5 calories per single ravioli.

I still don't know how much ravioli I ate, but I bet it's not 25 calories worth, ha. But what especially sucks about the tempeh is that I was forcing it down, afraid I wouldn't have gotten enough protein otherwise... and then I discovered it was only hard to finish because there was so much fat in it!

This is the last time I eat anything from the dining hall without reading the label first.

It's the last day of January, and I started the month at 131 and am apparently finishing it at 125 (unless I magically lose a pound through the course of the day, ha ha). If I manage to lose the same amount of weight in February, I'll be under 120 for the first time in five years!!!!

Good job, kat999! Hopefully we get under 120 together in February. You can do it!

krampus, are things more stressful more so than usual for you lately at work or in the Japanese culture in general?

Stuck in the 120s, although I'm at a place where I can be in the 1teens next month. Would love to be under 115 by the end of the month.

I am currently around 126 on a good day. I would lovvvve to get down to 118! Its just so difficult to make it in to the teens for me...maybe I need to up the exercise?
I used to be an avid runner but it got to be an unhealthy obsession and I had to cut way down. Now I can barely run a mile.

How often do yall exercise?

I try to hit 450 minutes a week while I'm in "trying to lose more weight" mode and maybe half that when I'm maintaining.

On good weeks, 5-6 days a week, between 30 minutes and an hour. On slower weeks, 3-4 days a week, still 30 - 60 minutes.

fivestone I don't know really. I just sort of lost my beans for a few weeks there. You're my weight loss idol at the moment, can't believe how well you're doing!

I try to exercise every day. I can squeeze in pushups/body weight stuff anywhere anytime, and it's not THAT hard to take 30 minutes to go for a walk or something. I aim to run 3 days a week and do Tae Bo for 3.

I ate my way up to 129-130 and am on my way down. I laid down the law and banned all candy/cookies/ice cream for a week. I'm liking how I don't feel like a manic junkie, so maybe a week will become longer than a week. This morning I was right about 128 on the dot, which is almost a pound and a half less than yesterday!

Aaah, this thread made me so disappointed in myself, I would have been in the 120's if it wasn't for my complete derailing over the holidays, I absolutely self sabotaged in every way, binge eating, too much booze on nights out, never worked out.......epic fail. I'll be meeting you all back here soon, after I get rid of this 7lbs and get in the 120's.....just the thought of seeing 120 something makes me so much more determined and excited. See you all soon, hopefully by Feb 21st!

Hmm, Ok, so it sounds like I really need to up my exercise. Right now I only go 3-4 times a week and do about 35 minutes of elliptical and then a basic push-up/crunches routine.
I've kind of been wanting to take some of the scheduled classes at my gym! maybe taking one or two of those will help me to increase my exercise in a fun way.
Also, I've changed my weight goal, so now I can officially be trying to get out of the 120's!

Hey there...I wanted to say that I have been between 125lbs and 127lbs for the past couple months...I seem to just need that little extra push to get through this plateau...I'm hoping that by cleaning up my eating I can break through

Yes!! :hugs: I knew you could do it!

Confession: ten days ago, my ticker was a lie. I was actually at 128. I'm hoping that by tomorrow or so, I'll actually be down to 125

Congrats Krampus! 2 pounds is a major achievement. That's great that you have been able to conquer your sugar cravings!
