So I've decided to change my goal for Thanksgiving. Looks like 129 will be more reasonable. I just completely binged on left over birthday cake and before that I had a "mini" binge of saltene crackers. I jumped my stats for today to 2000 calories, 81g of fat, 237g of carbs, 107g of protein and 56g of sugars!! Ugh I am so upset!! Everytime I get really stressed, like really really stressed, I cant help it. All I crave are carbs. I am so dissapointed because I really feel like I could have reached the 120's this weekend but of course I blew it again because of stress. I will just have to keep trying. I really just dont know what will curve my carb cravings when I get this stressed :/

So new goal for Thanksgiving - 129

Have a good weekend everyone!

Dianne,
The biggest challenge in healthy living is not making changes or avoiding failure--it's picking yourself up and getting right back in the groove of things after messing up. Don't waste time being frustrated with yourself; it won't do you any good.
You can do this! Keep pluggin' away at it!

Miss Oneoftwelve/thirteen, you are wise beyond your years.

Chelsey, I just had a binge that makes yours look like a diet. No matter. I am having a cup of unsweetened tea and going to bed. Tomorrow is another day.

How odd; I just had some leftover birthday cake tonight too. Not quite enough to be a full-out binge, but indulgent nonetheless. Great minds think alike?

awwwww you feathers are awesome! Is it bad I feel better that I have fellow feathers that "binged" at the same time I did? Oh thats so wrong. I guess it makes me feel not alone.

Oneoftwelve - you are absolutely correct. I think I have gotten better about not throwing in the towel and continuing to pick myself back up. Thank you for the boost of motivation and reminder that I can do this!!

I feel like its more acceptable to treat or even the occasional "binge" when you are in maintenance. Its near impossible to lose weight while having constant treats and binges. So I think you are fine! You have the metabolism of an 18 year old!!

I agree with all of the above.... no one ever became obese overnight from one piece of birthday cake!!

Spend tomorrow moving around, eating lots of veggies, hydrating, and taking care of your body

I think life is all about balance... and Birthday Cake too!

I'm having a carboholic week this week too, mainly because I'm so broke all I can afford to buy is 70 cent loaves of white bread haha. But your binge is hardly enough to warrant any substantial gain. You might find yourself pleasantly surprised at the end of the coming week...
