Stella1609 - Always welcome! You're doing so well! You'll be at your goal in no time and before you know it you'll be celebrating the 150's! :D.
kamesennin - All I can say is I wish my boobs were big enough to float anywhere haha! I was blessed with the amazing gift of being pretty flatchested. I'm gonna take a look at some of those weight watcher recipes I've never actually made of of theirs before! At the moment though I've started to really crave salads and I usually HATE salads, I mean with a passion. My tastebuds are changing I'm sure because now the taste of tea makes me gag! haha. A couple of weeks ago I was drinking 4 or 5 cups a day.
Nicholediet - Welcome :). Good luck and have fun at the gym ;).

I'm not a fan of salad, either! lol I made this great salad that passes for a meal:

Spinach Barley Salad--I didn't have time to cook the barley so I just substituted a bag of Trader Joe's instant brown rice. Also used apple cider vinegar instead of the sherry vinegar bc that is what I had in the fridge. Yummy!

Put me down for 110 lb by July 4th. This will definitely help to keep me accountable.

fosterfam - I guess you can do it any way you want, find what works for you :). I weigh in properly once a week so that's when I post my new weights on here. Up or down that's when I change my ticker and post it to the boards.
kamesennin - That actually does sound quite yummy! haha. I'm into prawns a lot at the moment now as well, prawn salads, beautiful <3 lol.
Taurie - Welcome :). We have similar stats haha, got my fingers crossed for you (yn).

Last two days have been in the garbage as far as eating.......BLAH. Going swimming tomorrow morning and I'm going to try and do some laps w/out the paddle board. Without drowning, hopefully. Sadly there are no hot lifeguards on the morning shift at the Y. :(

Got some vit D pills at the store today so I'm adding those to my pill regimen. lol Now I'm up to fish oil, prenatals, vit d, and zinc. Who knows if they help but at least I'm doing something, rite? lol

CW:117.2
GW: Between 110 and 115

0.4 lbs down this week :). Keep up the hard work everyone and kamesennin don't let a few bad days set you back get back on track and you'll be at goal in no time :).

Taurie 03-25-2010 04:35 PM

No movement on the scale in the last couple days, but I'm hanging in there.

maenad 03-26-2010 12:10 PM

WOW! I am so happy to see how many people have joined this Challenge! WELCOME to all the new people!

I am sorry I have been MIA for the past week, but i was on holiday in Europe for a week. I got back and promptly got ill, so i have been bed ridden all day. Just my luck!

I have some big news...I GOT ENGAGED!!! My BF of 2 years finally asked me! I am really excited and this means i really need to meet goal by the 4th. I think the wedding will be some time in July, so the pressure is on!!!

I was really proud of myself to see that i didn't gain an ounce on the trip. I ate alot, but i guess all the walking and site seeing helped out!

maenad 03-26-2010 12:14 PM

Taurie - WELCOME! don't worry about there being no movement. sometimes it just takes a few days. Try changing up your calorie intake, one day a little higher, one day a little lower.
xgemziex - woot woot! your doing great!

shasha12 03-26-2010 12:52 PM

MAENAD, WOOOO!!! :carrot: that is so exciting, congratulations!!!!!

xgemziex 03-26-2010 06:11 PM

Taurie - Like maenad said sometimes it just takes a while to see a change, keep up the hard work and it'll drop in no time! :).
Maenad - Thankyou! :D And argh that really is bad luck! I hope you had a great time though, where did you go in Europe? && Oh my Gosh congratulations on the engagement! That really is amazing! The wedding will be as soon as July? Even better, I don't think you could find better motivation :).

maenad 03-27-2010 09:09 AM

shasha12 - Thank you!!!!!
xgemziex - I know, it is going to be pretty rush rush due to summer plans and what not. I am now thinking that august might be better for the wedding, but we'll see!

Still have the flu. this sucks. I have lived on tomato soup for three days now. blah. Missed work today and went to the hospital for meds. feel so crappy....

stella1609 03-27-2010 09:13 AM

Congrats on the engagement, Maenad!! That's super exciting :D I planned a wedding in nine weeks and it was beautiful, so you pick your date and you'll make the wedding happen--don't worry! I'm sorry you're still feeling poorly :(

I broke down and bought new work clothes a couple of days ago--my L shirts were just feeling so sloppy and working in clothing at a department store I can't stand to not be neatly dressed. Even though I bought M tops for the first time in a LONG time, I'm actually having a really bad fat week. After my big losses the last couple of weeks, I'm barely maintaining this week :( Stupid scale!

xgemziex 03-27-2010 07:02 PM

Maenad - If it's summer you should get great weather *touch woods* so it will be a beautiful day! Argh I'm sorry to hear you're still ill, I hope you're feeling better soon! At least tomato soup is yummyyyy, doesn't make up for being ill I know but just think when you're all better you can really get into bridezilla mode haha.
Stella1609 - Congrats on the smaller clothes, a real accomplishment! We all have our bad weeks so don#t worry too much about not seeing the scale srop just get back on track :).

stella1609 03-28-2010 12:35 AM

I wish it was about getting back on track, but I haven't been off track :( Makes the lack of loss more frustrating!

xgemziex 03-29-2010 04:51 AM

stella1609 - Is it your TOTM or has your sodium intake been high? Maybe you're retaining water. Mix up your diet a little and exercise a little though that usually helps :).
