For me there is a HUGE difference. I dont know why. But red wine definitely has a stronger hangover effect and tends to dehydrate me more and leave me sluggish the next day. It also gives me..um...GI problems which are exacerbated by running. It messes with my sleep more too.
White usually doesnt bother me at all the next day unless I have way way too much.

I see, some red wines do give me a headache the next day even if I only have one glass... When I drink, I also chug water, a glass of water for every glass of wine, this is especially true if I know it will be a long evening and I want to keep hydrated...
Yesterday I said NO to feeling discouraged that I haven't lost any weight, inches or clothing sizes in 6 months. I started a new running plan (working on increasing my speed with intervals) last night. I consumed less than 1400 SuperFoods-heavy calories. Today I am going to my strength-training boot camp.

Today I said NO to the giant, peanut butter rice krispie square that the store next to my work sells (not an easy one!) and NO to the half Tim Horton's donut that's been calling my name from the fridge!
I said no to peanuts. Yup, peanuts. You see, they're my weakness; I could eat them until the cows come home. I had already eaten a serving of walnuts today, so I couldn't justify another serving of nuts. So I just said no. It was hard, though...
I went out to the lunch area to get a cup of coffee after class, and I was quite tempted to make a cup of hot chocolate instead (120 cals)... but I resisted! I even had the 25-calorie stuff back in my desk that I could have had, but walking back to the lab seemed like a pain, lol. So I just had my coffee as planned.
I said "No" to chocolate! I was running lots of errands to all the places where in the past, I would get myself a "little treat", but today I resisted.
I ended up at Taco Bell for dinner, and I did go over my calories by 1 taco... but at least I KNOW how many calories that was, with pizza it's always a mystery.
Yesterday I said NO to ignoring what I had eaten the past two days of my half healthy/half carby binge-y diet.. I sat down and logged in every speck of crap that I had consumed. So at least I have the information now.
And today I said NO to a really good pizza. My husband got it but I decided to do as well as I could at a sports bar-type restaurant. I got blackened tilapia with black bean salsa on top, with sides of "steamed" mixed veggies (broccoli, cauliflower and carrots) and green beans. Of course I forgot to ask about the butter! Ugh. I blotted off what I could and estimated a whole tablespoon for my calorie log. Oh well.
But at least I think I have a better idea than if I chose pizza. As mayness said, it's just so unpredictable. I weigh slices at home but pizza in a restaurant is anyone's guess. For example, it is shocking how many calories a thicker crust adds... I made pizza crust at home recently and once I calculated the calories I couldn't do it. I made my pizza on whole wheat pita instead
