Morning ladies
I tried to post yesterday but couldn't get on for some reason. I am down 1.6 this week, thanks to my whoosh on Sunday!
My stats:
SW: 147
CW: 143
GW: 133
Lost 4/14
I managed to get out for a run on Mon/Wed last week, but not Friday as it was blowing a gale and raining, and also my OH and I had had a massive row and I wasn't in the mood to ask him for the favour of looking after dd2 while I ran. We made up though over the weekend.
Yesterday morning I managed a 4 mile run for the first time in quite a while. I was a bit scared but just took it gently for the first three miles, and then actually managed a 9.02 mile for my fourth mile.
My eating has been good - I have dropped right back into my 'diet' calorie limit without too much trouble and my OH has been pretty good about not trying to treat me over the weekend. He did bring out 2 packets of Maltesers but they were only 187 cals per packet and I had enough cals left over for that day to have one, so that was good.
So now this first two weeks is over, I will be happy to lose a pound a week, which will get me to my goal by 29th March.
MsPerception - MANY congrats on hitting that magic 120s!! I was there ever so briefly last summer - lol - for about a day I think!
100percentME - congrats on 133.4 - don't question it, just take it.
EmmaD - how do you know if you are small-framed or not? I used to think I had big bones, as whenever I would tell someone how much I weighed, they would be surprised, as apparently I didn't look that heavy. Which test did you do? I went through a phase of only losing 2 lb a month, in July and August a couple of years ago, but come September it kick started again - just gotta keep plodding along.
Doughnut - I once read something which made me think. If you get a puncture in one tyre, do you think "Sod it!" and puncture all your other tyres too? Of course not, so why let one bad day of eating ruin a whole week?

once again good morning ladies
im starting to fall into a morning routine of coming here and checking on posts before i start my day. I must say its quite encouraging.
Scale was down again this morning to 132.4. Yes, i ran to the other bathroom and got on the other scale just to make sure lol
its just been so long since my body has willingly lost weight via my efforts, so i guess it was a surprise reminder that hey! this really does work!
I had a bad day yesterday, just kind of a downer where some things a friend said really got to me, and so i will confess that i ate a brownie lol
but thats ok, ive been dying for some chocolate all week (stupid TOM) and i think that little dose was enough to fill my cravings so that i can make it through the next couple of weeks.
im off to school this morning, so i hope everyone has a fantastic day

Evening all - hope it's going well for all Feathers. I've been so busy today that I've hardly had time to eat my proper meals let alone anything else. I didn't get the chance to eat any of my healthy planned snacks so this is going to be a low one cal wise. Still, I'm not complaining given how many high ones I manage!
100%me - I'm so pleased for you, well done. I quite frequently drop when I eat more than I'm supposed to.

This is a great quote and I'll really, really try to remember it. Problem is that logically knowing a thing and acting on it can be two very different things

Hi everyone! I'm new here. I just reached my first minigoal today. I started out 155 this summer (and for the entirety of my teen years...). I lost weight via exercise solely, but I just started working on my eating habits. I can't wait to get into the 130s!
SW: 155
CW: 142.2
GW: 130 at max. I'll probably go lower.

Hi ladies!
Just got my home Internet up & running after it being down for a full week (stupid Rogers!). I'm still doing well - I've done yoga and a minimum of 30 minutes cardio every day so far this year! I finally got on the scale last Friday & it was 148.4, but then I got on again Sunday morning (don't know why, I just felt thinner) and saw 144.4! So I'm not going to weigh in again until next week Friday, I think - I like knowing that as long as I stay on-plan, I'm almost sure to see a drop, which just isn't the case with daily weighing.
Foodwise, I've done well. Had a few drinks with pals Saturday night, but stayed well within my calorie limit, & didn't let it make me succumb to bar munchies. Lunch with my advisor today, but I picked a grilled chicken salad with low-fat dressing, which I figure was probably the safest thing on the menu.
Glad to see everyone else progressing towards their goals as well!

100percentME is right. I find it very motivational to check in here at least once a day. Keeps my head in the right space
Good morning everyone!
I nibbled a bit too much after dinner last night but suffered no scales effects. Exercise was fine ... back and cardio.

Yay
I've "felt thinner" too this week but haven't been on the scales since Saturday and I try to keep it to once a week. On plan, nothing much to say

Had 2 days of silly, mindless eating that left me WAY over my calories. Stinks, but I'm gonna move on and not worry about it. I saw a very slight loss this week (less than 1/2 lb). On the bright side, I'm doing really well with exercise.
I'm going to keep trying to plan healthy meals and stop the crazy snacking. I want to get to my goal weight so badly in the near future! But I gotta stay on track.

 Great Job Ilene
I have been much too snacky the last few days. I have leftover cupcakes and candy from my son's birthday party. They have to GO. The scale has not been my friend the last few days. My exercise has been good and I guess the food is not good enough. I have said it before but I think I need to track my calories. I am going to look into one of the online calorie counters and get set up. I think it is the only way I will be able to achieve my first goal of 135 and ultimately 130.

Hey ladies,
I've been MIA since I was angry at my weight. I've probably told hundreds of people over the years not to get too upset about the number on the scale, and that 1.5 weeks doesn't count as a plateau lol, but it's hard to take your own advice.
But today I was down to 128.0 - down 4.8 pounds since New Years!
Next week classes start... I'm TAing an undergraduate biochemistry lab from noon until about 5pm every Monday and Wednesday, and taking one 4-credit class, and one 1-credit class that will probably be in the evening. So basically, I'm gonna be SWAMPED all semester if I try to get any real lab work done.
I'm working out a plan for things I can quickly make on Sunday and take throughout the week for lunch/snacks. I'm fine with eating the same thing every day. Hopefully that will make things a little less stressful for me!

My jeans are starting to get really lose, but as someone else said on this forum, i feel its my clothes that are changing size and not me. lol
i guess ill just have to wait til tomorrow to see if i really am that close to the 120's

Good morning!
Exercise is good, food is not. Well, it's good food just too much of it. Let me see if I can be a little better balanced today.
