    I did my brisk walk around the part tonight with 2 out of the 3 dogs. I think I'm getting tennis elbow from throwing the ball for the border collie cross though

    Welcome to all the newbies!!

    I did pretty well with the food yesterday, but only a 30 minutes jogging walking combination. But I am satisfied for today. I wished to increase the time 5 minutes each day so that I dont feel too much. Hope it works.

    It's 2 week assessment time.
    I have averaged just over 1300 cals.
    I have had two days with no intentional exercise. Rest days doncha know
    And .... I've lost 5.8 pounds.
    Before we get too excited about that (been there done that) I know it's just beginners fluff loss. While a loss of almost 3 pounds per week would be dream-like ... I know it's not going to happen. But it sure is an encouraging start!

  • Great job SUSAN!!! I'm HERE! I WI last night! I lost 2 LBS!!!! But it sort of sucked being point 6 away from 50lbs, I was hoping to hit it. Well there is next week right!?
  • I'm here Susan! Not quite on a roll as you are, but I'm here! Been a nuts-o week! Hopefully the weekend will be more calm and I can get some good workouts in!
  • Im here too. It has been a busy day.

    I thought about forgoing exercise today but I thought about you guys... I took my son for a bike ride for about 30 minutes and then walked the dogs for about 15. Better than nothing.

    I dont know whats up with me the last three days. I am hungry all the time...one of those phases.

    This weekend I plan to do cardio tomorrow and hit the gym on Sunday.

  • It wasn't a good week for me.. I didn't lose any weight!! but neither did I put on too!! I have achieved my weekly exercise goal though. May be I will increase food a little bit this week. I was almost not eating past week. I have some muscle pains today, so thought of taking rest just today, or will see in the afternoon.

    Ya know ... the nice thing about what we do is that we can look back on a day (even a bad one) and make improvements.

    This weekend I'm sitting at a table learning about palliative care. It won't be hard for you guys to get more exercise than me
  • hey LADIEEEESSSS! So proud.....I cooked on a FRIDAY night and guess what....I am gonna cook tonight as well. We didn't even have Subway... Off to the gym after work. Have a good weekend everybody
  • @Susan - Yea thats right, we look back even if the days were something we want to erase from our past.. and try to correct the mistakes..

    I was walking for 3 hours today, in malls and supermarkets But I I can count that too.. I am tired now

  • Hi everyone. Today was not as tiring as yesterday. I quite enjoyed my learning.

    Cooking is the only way to be absolutely certain what you're putting into your body. Yes ... I had shrimp and chips Not bad cals today IF I get on the elliptical now.

    Normally I cook ... really I do.
