Everything's going very slowly but I'm still on track - not perfect but not disasterous. I spent the entire day in the office today surrounded by cakes and didn't touch one - so proud of myself
However, like everyone else here I have a problem with weekends but my weight is so ridiculously high at the moment self-disgust should be enough to see me through
Hey girls today the weekend officialy started and I will not bore you with the BBQ fare of foods I had today one of the gals at school had us over, OYE did we eat ALL AFTERNOON!!!... BUT on the upside I did run a very nice 5k around the track early this morning... it was nice and cool and I enjoyed it tremendously... I kinda like running the track, it's mindless and you can get in the zone quite quickly, no worry about traffic, lights, dogs, etc....My ipod was dead but I didn't mind at all for some reason running with no music... Other than the food fest this afternoon it's been a good day... Tomorrow WILL be a better day food wise... Weather permitting I will do a 25k or so bike ride in the morning ...

Holy hot here too. Very stressful last few days with some more to come. Trying not to stress eat, why can't I be the type that "can't" eat with stress?

Well I live in England so obviously it's raining here
I've dropped a bit of weight this week which makes me happy. It's less than a pound of my official start weight but it's 3 down on last Monday's weight - I'd just refused to log it!
I have a horrible week workwise so I'm hoping I won't have time to eat. Ooh and I managed a tiny amount of exercise yesterday.
I've been out there crazy busy at work and "fighting the good fight"
There was a huge seminar scheduled at our site for a "go-live" event on a new test we're designing. This of course means that "The Feeder" was in her glory.
Banquets, cocktail parties, baseball games, breakfast chefs, cook outs, dinners out, and a booze cruise on one of the sales team guys yacht. She got to order the food for it all.
And I get to say I'm DOWN a pound after it all. WHEW!!!
Doughnut: The deal is that we both started our jobs on the same day as the first employess at our site. She seemed to have dialed herself to the "Kill setting" when she met me. It happens. She is morbidly obese and seems to enjoy feeding people. Then when they say "Oh I can't believe I ate that" she likes to say "Well no one MADE you eat it!". It's my daily challenge to eat just what I have planned...
So this week I'll get back to walking the skywalk and keeping my white knucles clenched. Gotta catch up reading the posts!

Um, what's a skywalk? I'm trying to think of an langauage equivalent for here but I can't think what you mean. They might know in London I suppose
The fact that she's morbidly obese makes her behaviour easier to understand. You must look pretty good at your weight so I guess she's trying to make herself feel better. I actually find it easy to refuse food offered/thrust upon me by very large people because it reminds me what happens when you eat it. These days however, I'm one of the largest in my social circle which just makes me want to eat more out of some peverse self-abuse
Well it's bedtime here and I've made it through on calories - 4 days in a row. Night all.
I think a skywalk is like a tunnel adjoining buildings but it's up. Over a street or waterway. I'm pretty sure I've been to a convention building in Ohio that's connected to a hotel across the street that way. No rain, no weather ... no getting hit by a car.

Ditto! When I am in a restaurant and someone obese is eating not far from me I find it very easy so stay on plan...
for staying on plan Doughnut!!
@ Sylverbirch long time no see ...
Yesterday was good food wise but no exercise someone popped in just before I was leaving for the gym.. I should have left 5 minutes earlier, oh well, there's always today, and I will go today for sure!
Have a great day today. I was up early to go to the gymn. Got to keep going in the school hols without too much recourse to food. I have not yet worked out how to do this but I think that exercise helps. (Every so often the different energy levels of the 54 yo woman and the 9 yo boy are a bit of a challenge ...)
