Lizzy ... I don't care if the jeans measure exactly the same as your current ones. A size two is a size two! You should wear them with the tag hanging out!

I am so ******ed

I posted over in last weeks thread yesterday. Lovnmom was also posting over there. I wondered where everyone went I posted a note to Lovnmom to let her know where we are.

Hello Ilene , so good to see you. It's good to see everyone else too

My weekend was pretty good. I even cleaned my living room carpet Sunday. Yesterday, I cleaned my whole house from top to bottom (that's exercise, right? ) I'm doing much better on the food today than yesterday, so hopefully I'm back on track for the week.

Have a great day

Dagmar, Good luck with the new clients. Extra cash flow is always welcome!

bargoo, DD and I had a great time shopping. She recently has dropped some weight herself. Making shopping in the junior section at Kohls a breeze rather than a disappointment. We have no real number for how much she's lost, because she's not a weigher. I'm guessing about 15 pounds. This is her first year in high school. Her first year of lunch hour freedom. She doesn't have to be in the cafeteria. She's decided it's easier to take an apple or a yogurt to school for lunch rather than waite in line to eat. This way she has more time for listening to music and hanging with her friends. That combined with PE has netted her a nice easy loss. I'm betting her BMI is right in the middle the healthy range. Anyway, she decided no lunch out that the day's about shopping and hanging with her mom. We drove through McD's I had plain coffe and she had the mocha. Thanks for the extra prayer. It worked!

Claire, It sounds like you had a really fun day. What did you coach? My eating wasn't good yesterday either. I don't think my cals were probably too bad, but not one veggie crossed my lips and I only drank 1.5 qrts of water. I must do better to feel better! You are all inspiring me as well. Than you!

kittycat, Putting the candy in the freezer doesn't always work for me either. 5 minutes in my pj pocket and most anything is thawed to just perfect. I'm glad you found something that's working for you.

Off to Sunday School with my youngest. He's making pizzas with the nicest little old lady at our church today. She has the children help her make them and they sell them to the congregation. She's donating all the money to the free Christmas dinner our church provides. Of course we have an individual one ordered for each of us. At least I ordered mine with a lot of veggies!!!

Have a great Sunday chickies!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Gogirl, It sounds like you have a well laid plan for today and the week to come.

I too need to get back on track today. I did ok on Sat, but yesterday was a disaster. I think the only things I did right were drinking my water and I ate an apple. The rest was carbs. Not good for me ones. Yummy homemade pizza crust and french bread carbs. I'd better get walking!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

abbyin, Eating out is always difficult. I can know all the rules, but that doesn't make them easy to follow!

I did much better myself yesterday. I ate plenty of veggies, fruits and dairy. I did treat myself to a tiny serving of chocolate, but after DS's basketball games a little nerve number was in order.
Hug a vet!

Ok, I was not too smart and had been posting in last weeks thread. This is what I had over there if anyone is interested. I'll catch up and do individuals tomorrow morning.
Hope you're all terrific!

Hey girls,

Great to "see" you back Ilene! It hasn't been a great year for me either, so don't feel bad. Every day is a chance for a fresh start!

Looks like everyone is having a good week... yay! Carey, I have 30 day Shred and also several other Jillian DVDs. Let me tell you, she doesn't mess around. I need to start doing them again myself.

I had an appt yesterday after work, so I couldn't work out, but Sunday and today I did a good walk - Sunday with DH at the park (the leaves are gorgeous here) and today with a friend after work. It feels sooo good to start exercising again!

I am now going to fix a healthy dinner of brown rice, broccoli, and chicken.

Let's have a healthy day tomorrow too, ladies! We'll all be at goal in no time

Red face confession

I'm cheating on you guys . I keep jumping back and forth between Feathers and Maintainers. I'm trying to lose the 3 lbs. but seem to be getting really good at maintenance while doing it. So I think I belong in both groups now.

The rest of this week is going to be really busy so please pardon some mental lapses . There might be posts here that were meant for maintainers and vice versa.

Hsave been OP for 9 days now - longest sustained OP stretch since Christmas 2006 (long story). I think I'm getting the hang of this. It's only taken 1 1/2 years!

Morning!

I was somewhat cowed by the cold yesterday and stayed in to exercise. It was nice light weights and stretching but not cardio enough.

I ate absolutely splendid food but far too much of it. Lets see if I can improve on that today.

lovnmom -- yum, pizza...and made with love and veggies!!

walking2 -- that does sound like a healthy dinner. I love broccoli!! Definitely my favorite veg.

Dagmar -- uh oh, OP for 9 days means I'd better step it up!! That is really great -- I don't think I've had an OP stretch for that long...um...ever??

KittyCat -- are you still a cool runner?? I've stopped running...it hurts my knees and it's really not that fun for me! I've found that just walking is doing the trick, and I'm much more likely to actually do it, too. Glad to see we've both made progress, though, either which way it's done!

-------------------------------------------------

Well, after seeing Dagmar's OP for 9 days, I must confess that I've been totally off plan for months, not counting (I do WW), nothin'. And I've been loving it, and I've been able to lose/maintain, though very very slowly. So I have mixed feelings about "dieting," but at the same time, I wonder if it would help me knock off those last few pounds to get back to planning and counting and all that fun. After all, I'm still paying for the online WW plan!

I'm planning to hit the gym this afternoon, and I'll have to think about what to do about eating. Hope everyone has wonderful days!!

I've been OP but had a bit of a tough start to my day yesterday (didn't sleep well, woke up hungry and naseous). I ended up eating two cheese sandwiches (thinking it would help my tummy--which it kind of did). My weight went up 1.5 pounds from that! Aargh!

I've got to get more serious--I have another doctor's appointment in about 3 months and he's going to want to see progress!

Yes, I am running regularly. I do say my prayers, tho, that my body holds up and I can do this forever. To that end, I don't really push myself in any way other than the miles.... like going for top speed..that kind of stuff. It's my understanding that injury generally occurs when searching for speed.

And I am both too young and too old to sustain an injury

Walking is wonderful too. I walk miles once a week for my workout. Anything that works, right?

Hello everyone!! I have been lurking and posting a couple here and there in featherweights but I decided that I need to be commited. I used to hang out in the 20-somthings but I have decided that now that I am getting really close I thought you all would be able to give me more advice for those last 15lbs. I have lost 40 since the begining of the year. I haven't fallen off the wagon, but I have stopped trying to loose over the past 2 months or so. But I have maintained so that's really good! So I think I am finally ready to get back on track and get these last 15 pounds off of me!!!
