Consistent exercise...gee! What a concept! Why didn't I think of that?!?! You think that maybe, just maybe, if I were to exercise consistently I'd actually lose these last pounds? That I'd maybe get back to where I was 2 years ago (which was just 2 pounds from goal?).

Claire and Ilene~I think we're all in the same boat! Talk about being a "fraud"--I hang out in the maintainers section!!! Nothing worse than edging up my current weight time and time again when I claim to be maintaining!

And I have this really cute pair of jeans that I want to wear in Alaska at the end of July. Right now they won't zip.

Hey gals. I am working very hard on managing not to eat the chocolate chip cookies I baked as a special summer treat for DS. I know, I know - not a great idea to have them in the house at all However, I have decided I can make a choice to have ONE (3 points) if I still want one around 4 pm with some decaf coffee. We'll see.

trailgroomer- do you mind me asking what state you are in? We are having record breaking temps this afternnoon here in Georgia

Allison - I have faith in you and your ability to fit in those jeans LOL.

Also, remember how I went and got those foo foo bras the other day (the fitting was my 10lb loss reward). Anyway - one of the bras I got is not fitting me well, so I am going to bring it back and try and exchange it for a good sports bra I think.

Thanks, Poly! Yesterday and today I've been fighting the good fight... gotta keep it up.

Here's my accountability

Sun
1100 cal -- VERY low for me, but this is making up for lots of very high
fiber 41 -- GREAT
protein -- GREAT
Yoga - one hour

Mon
1100 calories -- so far - plan to have a snack
fiber 17 - not so great -
proteing 46
no exercise - just got home, and it's 9pm, have to be up again at 6:30

2 fairly healthy days... finally I have reigned in calories and need to stay below 1400. I had to go to a little girl (my hockey team's) ice cream party tonight...ugh. I only had a scoop of vanilla with a little chocolate syrup and half a banana. I entered everything in dailyplate. The empty calories makes a big difference in my fiber and protein, and I'm still hungry!! I have 2-300 calories left, so I'm debating on what to have. I will be working out every other day this week... or should be.

I sure wish our schools would close for heat - MISERABLE - but I only have two more days. Hope Batmom got her AC fixed.

Allison, I think it's fine that you hang out in maintainers.... you have maintained a significant loss, even if you're not exactly where you'd like to be. You can learn lots of good tips, plus it's very social - nothing wrong with that! Let's keep each other accountable this next month or so!

Claire - I try to aim for about 100g of protein but I rarely make it ... but today I did have 108g... I had 2 lean ground beef patties with veggies for supper so it bumped it pretty high...

Ok so here is my accountability for the day... food was good - check... I exercised legs, 45 minutes, at the gym - check... I walked to and from work total of 20 minutes, better than nothing - check ... I biked in slowmotion for about 15 minutes while I waited for my g1f to get out of the aerobic class - check ...

It was a very hot day today again, I love it, but I am lucky that I am about the only person in the whole school that has central air rather than a box in the window ... DH broke down and started the AC, thank goodness... The 2 cats were getting so lazy from the heat that they were getting dirty from not cleaning themselves, I found that very strange

Morning feathers.

I had a loss this morning - not much but I'll take it. It takes me down to 153 even. I was hoping to see 152 point something but it was not to be. Went for a 3 mile walk yesterday. It's another beautiful day today so hopefully I should get out again.

Hello, polypeptide!

Claire- sounds like you are working hard at staying OP.

Ilene- it sounds like you are doing really well too!

Robsia- for 153!!!!

Well, I was thinking of a power walk after dinner today, but now I notice it will probably be raining. So - dance it will probably be I got a proper sports bra, which is a nice change for me. I guess I can test it out while dancing LOL.

I have been fairly good yesterday and today. I have major PMS and TOM is peeking around the corner, so this week I have accepted that I may loose just a pound.

Okay - I am going to try and sneak headphones on and dance around while DS watches TV.

hey girls! still no ac but we've got a good little routine going of opening and shutting windows at the right times and I borrowed a big construction fan that just about blows me across the room. It's helping.

congrats on the loss Robsia! Always take a change going in that direction!

good job staying on track Claire. I use daily plate but mostly watch the calories and the breakdown. I mostly try to keep my fat from getting too high.

Yay - down again this morning - 0.7! I have a date on Monday with my new guy. Well, sort of a date - we are going shopping for sheet music - lol! But we might fit in lunch somewhere. Skinny jeans here I come!

I wonder how much I can lose in 5 days . . .

Just checking in......not much new here, I'm still doing well overall with everything. I think I'm going to take the day off from the gym though; it's possible that I overworked my leg muscles because my right leg is really sore.

Yesterday I walked/ran on the treadmill for 45 minutes, but played around with the incline - that definitely intensifies your workout! I try to walk in tempo with my music which is a challenge. Soon I'll probably take a yoga class or something to mix things up, since I'm getting sick of the elliptical most days.

Robsia you're doing wonderful, it's always nice to log in to this board and see even when you're up a lb or two you always get straight back to business!

I'm having a major mental 'sort out' at the moment and re-motivating myself. It's about time, I really need that extra mental push or I can see myself in another slum. I havent exercised in months because I've just had no energy so I'm going to make a goal of 5 mins of exercise a day, not much, but I'm going to build it up an extra 5 mins a week.

batmomm- ugh - no ac still. Well, the fan sounds like a plan - what state are you in? Our heat wave is gone now and we are back to normal mid to upper 80s; oddly that now feels cool LOL.

Claire- love the bra pun. My bra did very well this morning! Good for you on exercise and eating.

Robsia- hooray on the downward movement! Hey - I think a new relationship is probably an excellent motivator!

Kimberly- oh n - hope your leg is better soon. I think changing around exercise is a good plan - isn't that supposed to fight the plateau?

spoz- I think it is a good idea to start small with exercise so you are not overwhelmed.

I think the heat wave finally went away! I did a 40 minute walk (though was feeling a bit sluggish darn PMS ). This afternoon DS and I are meeting SIL and my niece at the pool
