Default Rubbing legs

I am suffering really bad right now. It's really hot right now here in Mexico. Today is 42C or 115F. And the heat is only going to get worse. I have been dreading wearing shorts...Does anyone know that feeling of the rubbing legs in the heat??? I am having the worst of time... At what weight do your legs stop rubbing? Because I will make this my TRUE GOAL WEIGHT. I need to stop the discomfort.

Think that's a weight that everybody has to find for themselves, unfortunately it is so variable from person to person.

Two suggestions (1) try wearing lightweight skirts with very light and loose shorts underneath that are long enough to cover the problem area -- for some reason a skirt is cooler in the heat anyway; (2) talcum powder or even corn starch can help to dry some of the perspiration and make your upper legs a little more 'smooth and slippery'.

Body Glide (if you can get it there) is made to stop chafing for runners. I actually use it when I wear high heels (that I don't normally wear) as it helps prevent blisters.

anti chafing gel, works fantastic. It should be with the feminine items.

I used to use Gold Bond medicated powder (or regular) bc it has a minty soothing feel. May not smell so great, but it works. I've also used corn starch and heard of the chafing gel (Esp for running). The old fashioned way would be to wear spandex shorts under a light flowy skirt, but I always hated that, since wearing more layers is NOT what I want.

Spandex might make it worse. Some synthetics don't breathe at all and all of your sweat just rolls around on top of your heat rash, making it all that much worse.

Any kind of powder will usually help.

I second the bodyglide. It's packaged like a stick deodorant and it's clear and odorless. Just a swipe here or there and it should help. It also helps heal if you've already chaffed. You can buy it at Dick's Sporting Goods or any other running shop.

My thighs still rub together. It's to a lesser degree and not nearly as uncomfortable but...I think that body glide is an excellent suggestion..when I was fluffier I used to wear pettipants to remedy this particular discomfort.

For a quick fix, you can use unscented deodorant....it works pretty well for me, unless you are planning to do some serious walking!
