Hello everyone,
I am 31 going to be 32 here soon. I am currently trying to get to my goal weight and am slowly getting there. I currently quit smoking and gained a few pounds back. So that is a little discouraging.
I have a 12 year old daughter. So the issue of gaining the weight had nothing to do with having a child. I was always real thin until I hit about 22. I met my husband and then the weight just piled on. So during high school I weighed 120. I gained 65 pounds when i was pregnant. Two weeks after giving birth it came off. When I met my husband I weighed 145 which I felt that was an ideal weight for my height. Then I guess you get comfortable with the person you are with and the pounds just add up.
I would like to get down to 155. I have a very supportive husband. He loves me the way I am. So it is kindof hard to get motivated because if my husband still finds me attractive then why can't I feel that way about myself. I do not want my daughter to ever feel the way I do. But I do feel that if I am down on myself and pick up bad habits then she will learn that from me. So on a daily basis I let her know that I am proud of the young woman she is becoming.
I am currently watching my calorie intake and trying to excercise. It is very hard to get to the gym especially after a hard day of work. So I am falling behind when it comes to that.
I would love to hear from all of yall and get as many tips as I can.
