Smile We can do this!

Group hug for everyone who has committed to staying on track this weekend!!

I'm big on using mantras and great quotes to get me through hard times. Here's two that I hope will inspire and motivate you.

"Discipline is remembering what you want."

AND

"The difference between the impossible and the possible lies in a person's determination."

I'm starting off today at 141lbs with fierce determination to not gain an ounce! everyone!

Hi ladies -

I'd like to join in too, if I can. I recently started working from home and lost a couple of pounds at first but this last week I find myself being a little bored and the fridge is calling my name. So tomorrow I am going to re-commit myself to my weight loss journey and I'm happy to find this support thread . I weighed in this morning at 150 so count me in guys

Default Yikes

I already had a moment. I ate way too much. I am over it and have regained control. Just wanted to pop in, fess up, and remind everyone to drink their water this weekend!

Good luck

Question I'm in too?

Just a question first. If it's so hard to stay OP (and it is) on the weekend why are we all waiting to check in on Monday, after the damage is done ?

Shouldn't we be trying to be supportive on the actual weekend? I know everyone is busy (at least I am) on the weekend fitting in all the stuff we didn't get done during the week. But it only takes a couple of minutes to post.

I already did my damage last night. My DH is going through a major drinking phase right now and he brought me two interesting beers "to try". After that I just plain ate.

Relatives over for coffee and birthday cake (they're bringing it) this afternoon and then out to dinner.

I will try to maintain and not go over approx 1600 calories today. I'll check in later.

I am not a drinker, not even a social one but I do love trying out new beers. I have no more than a few sips here and there but have you ever had Framboise? OMG...it's like nectar of the gods! That and Hard Cider...yum.

Weekends are difficult for me only if I'm away from home and fortunately this weekend we're at home so I don't have to worry about going off plan.

The unfortunate thing is I think I may have a mild case of food poisoning...woke up feeling not so well and have all the correct *cough* thing happening to me...we'll see how the day pans out.

Hope everyone is well.

Default Me too, me too

I'm in. This whole week (actually the last two) have been a bust for me. So it's important for me to get right back on track - spring is here and it will be warm before you know it. We can do this I do not want to move my ticker to the left on Monday.

MindiV - hmm razor wire, electric fence - do you think the shock from the fence would kill my appetite? LOL!

Monique - maybe thats the sign I need on the frig.

Nixmom - way to get right back on track!

Dagmar - I agree waiting until Monday to check in is a long way away.

So I'll go ahead and check in because my weekend started yesterday (not busy at work so took a last minute 3 day weekend - I love those). I did good - exercise and low cals. Today will be my challenge. Birthday dinner for my future son in law (no - I am not old enough for one of those- LOL!). My husband picked the menu and I think I will need double willpower and a day or two on the elliptical.

OK...count me in...weekends are my worst!

Only two days before we leave for London England. No time like the present to start behaving! Just ate a bowl of original Fiber One with 2 T. ground flax seed. Now off to do weekend errands and buy stuff for the trip.

At least the food poisoning will probably result in weight loss

Default Checking in! ;)

Great idea to check in over the weekend...

I was acutally laying in bed this morning thinking of you guys. I jumped on the scale and am down 2lbs. I had a good night last night. I did have 2 light beers w/ some friends and my husband. But didn't eat any of the appetizers ordered except some chips and salsa.

Tonight we are having friends over for dinner. I am making light crab cakes and salad... I am also making some low fat snacks (hummus and baked tortillas & veggies)

I feel great today! Made it out for a quick bike ride.

Crossing fingers...

Everyone - thank you for inspiring me!

(Ilene thanks again )

I'm checking in too. Looks like everyone is doing pretty good so far

I been eating OP today and even walked on my treadmill for 30 minutes . I don't haved anything real exciting planned for the weekend so I figured while I'm sitting around being bored I could at least do some exercise.

Hope everyones having an OP day!
