well, I weighed in this morning, since I'm going to be away for the next 10 days or so...not pretty...141.2. So I'm up a pound and a bit. Darnit. Well I guess I shouldn't be surprised. We'll see what happens when I'm away. Maybe I'll get back down to 139.8!
Coming to this late, but I've lost two pounds since the race began. Starting weight was 141.5. I weighed in this morning at 139.0 pre-shower, then 139.5 post-shower.
Some of this was due to the end of TOM. Still, I'll take it! I haven't been <140 in about a decade. Certainly way, way, way BTB (Before The Boy).
***ERRR***
I mean I'm down 2.5 pounds. After weeks of slacking on exercise and convincing myself that I'd plateaued, I got back on the exercise wagon (thank you featherweights challange!) and have been doing cardio and weights and well....FINALLY!!....a loss...and I weighed today morning because TOM is on it's way...will likely hit tomorrow and I won't be able to weigh in until next weekend...so....
YEAH! A loss always has be poised for an awesome and in control weekend...I"m all "don't ruin the progress that you've finally made!)

Reason: added weight stats
I took 4 days off from everything in my life that made me anxious (work, dieting, thinking about finances and thinking about moving back to school, etc)--that included dieting! So, I didn't go completely overboard, but when you eat carby food for days after being on a low carb diet, you inevitably gain back some water/glycogen weight. I'm forgoing a weigh-in this week because I KNOW I'm heavier than last week
I'll catch you all up next Saturday, when I weigh in!
I'm glad I saw this thread, I had almost forgotten I was in this race... We have a BBQ today so I'll be super careful. I'll weigh-in tomorrow morning, Monday .
I've been doing really well this week - lots of workouts, sticking to plan. And I hit 133.0 this morning! Woo! That's the weight I was right before I got pregnant with my daughter, plus it means I've lost 15 lbs and have only 10 to go. 133 was my original 5 lb goal, but I think my starting weight was artificially inflated due to water retention and other issues. I think 131.0 is a more realistic 5 lb goal.
Congrats Robin! What an awesome feeling! Congrats to those who are losing as well! I've been stuck at 148 for 3 weeks now. I'd love to join in this race. Maybe it'll bring me some luck to get off this friggin plateau!!
