We went to Massachusetts on the 23rd for my stepfather's funeral. We just arrived home this morning. It was really so very hard. The day we left I hit 112.5...but I've been on a non-stop binge since then. I've watched my weight the whole time and it's been staying around 114-115. I'll do my official weigh in for the week tomorrow and report then...though I'm sure I'll be back up to even more than when the race started. *sigh*

The worst is my belly. Even when I don't gain, if I eat sugar and refined carbs more than two days in a row my stomach gets huge.

goinforthegold, you sound like your describing my life.

1) We just went to my MIL's funeral 2 weeks ago.
2) I am now three pounds heavier then when I started this challenge!

Son of a ....*$&$^#($&%^$%# I'm 118 today!!!! ACK!!!! Ok, ok...that's enough fooling around...I'm back in the race!!!! Course now I have to lose 9lbs. Stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid....!!!!!

Weighed in at 135.5 this morning, for the third morning in a row (i.e., it's "sticking"). That's 6 pounds since the race began.

ROFL Carolyn...I guess so...just a shorter version. Ugh, my gut is so bad after the past week. It's so fooish of me, it was really starting to get nice and flat. ARGH.

Congrats Kim!!! You gonna pick up your prize now? LOL Guess we're racing for second place now.

I'm back on track today so I'm back in the race baby!!! Look out...I'm going for second place!! Meanwhile, I'm starving right now, which ticks me off b/c it's bedtime so I refuse to eat...AND I ate a good supper, plus an apple, a couple handfulls of popcorn and cucumber since suppertime so there's no reason for me to be hungry. *sigh*

Update: I weighed in this am and the scale is back down to 115. Whew!! Thank goodness. I guess 3 lbs of what I thought I put on was just water, etc. So, I'm only up a pound I guess since we started.

Bad news for me...my vacation stuck about 5 pounds back on me...I'm up to 144. Argggh. I'm going to wait a few days before changing my ticker, but I'm not happy to say the least.

Ok, I'm so excited. I was 113.5 today...almost back to my ticker weight and almost back to the weight I was when we left for Mass. Luckily it's coming off easily and fast...must have been more water, etc than anything. Hopefully I'll be ticker weight by tomorrow...maybe and maybe by my weigh in Tuesday I'll be back to my pre-trip weight.

At any rate, 113.5 puts me at .5 lost for this race, I think...I think I was 114 when it started.

How's everyone else doing??
