Hi NewOrleansLady and

Happy birthday, Jen! It's already the next day where you are, but it's still your birthday here!

Thanks for the birthday wishes... Dh got me some interesting pressies! First of all he bought me some furry catterpillar boots (pic) which I've been wearing since early December then he bought me some pressies that I got on my birthday, 3 bath bombs, a pink tool set and 3 boxes of choccies He is a LOON! What do I want 3 boxes of choccies for??? We ate one on my birthday, there's another which is dried cranberries, macadamias and chocolate covered macadamias, which we opened last night and I had 2! Then there's another green and black's individually wrapped pieces, which I will make last for ages...

My mum bought me some teddy bear slippers... I think she thought I was turning 12! But she also sent me some jewellery (which I didn't really like) but then tells me her sister bought them for her for Christmas. She sent the gift receipts too, so that I can take them back and exchange them for something!

That was about it for presents - although I got some cheques which I will put towards the NEW BIKE at the end of the month!

Weight-wise I'm doing super well, just 1.5lbs up from Christmas Day weight now which is GREAT! I've been consistently on schedule for a whole week and I feel SUPER!

Hello everyone and I happy new year. I joined 3FC last week and am loving it. After years of battling (always losing the battle) my eating habits it's great to have people to talk to who know what I'm on about. I really like this forum as well. I wish us all well for this year

Doughnut .. Featherweights forum has been quiet of late, I guess it's because no one feels like a "feather" since the Holidays

Yes, we miss Susan and I definitely don't feel like a feather. And I've got this crazy temporary job where I have to commute over an hour each way and I'm getting up at the crack of dawn every day. My exercise program lasted for the first two days, but today I cracked and slept in the extra hour. Lunch has been at fast food places because I don't want to eat in the same room where I've been training all morning. I was doing so well on my diet and it's all gone! After this week, I'll be assigned to a regular worksite and I HOPE I won't have to drive so far. This has not been a good week for my diet.

Thanks, Ilene, I needed that! It's late, but I'm off to the kitchen to put the leftovers in a bag for tomorrow. I'll try to be more creative for Friday.

Yes Susan's still playing with baby goats and not being a featherweight!

I'm not feeling very feathery, but I am progressing and I'm feeling positive, if not absolutely bushwhacked, however I don't feel as tired as I thought I would this morning!

Did I tell you about the stupid exercising on Tuesday? I did gym at lunch, kickboxing, then DH roped me into doing an hour of a dance exercise video THEN I couldn't sleep! So yesterday I dragged myself to the gym at lunch, then after work I went home for a nap only to be woken by DH demanding dinner I tried to get an early night last night but DH kept talking to me And then he says he's tired... Ooooh you just wait till I get my hands on him!

So I'm trying to get my head around the fact that I'm not too tired, and trying to tell myself that I'll be ok for all the exercise I've got planned today.

I can never sleep when I do cardio in the evening. That dance video would've given me insomnia too!
