Hi everyone! I found this site this morning after doing some searching for support groups for the Fat Smash diet. I bought the book Monday and am starting the diet on Saturday. Right now I am really nervous about starting but I am 100% ready! I am sick of being fat. I want to be able to hold my head up and not feel embarassed when I go to a school function with my daughters.

I am so glad I found this site. I have been reading through the messages and can see that you all are very supportive of one another. I am looking forward to getting to know all of you!!

Welcome Angie!!! I am starting Day 4 and finding it a-ok! It was hard the first 2 days, especially since I experienced lack-of caffeine headaches, but I am doing better.

Welcome! I understand what you mean about wanting to be able to hold your head up and not feel embarrassed. I have been self conscious about my weight for as long as I can remember. I lost 45 lbs a couple of years ago and I was able to conceive my son (I have PCOS). While I was thinner... I felt great. People treat you different. Or maybe that was the way I felt because I felt different. I don't know. But, I do know that I want that feeling back again. I gained too much weight with my pregnancy(but am very thankful for my miracle baby!) and I need to lose it again.
