I said no to both!!! Woohoo for me....Took Jr. out for his Bday dinner at Pizza Hut, DF and kids each ordered personal pan pizzas and I had salad. I'm very proud of myself...I love PIZZA.
Had salad for lunch as well, I don't think that I ate enough today however so may snack on some oatmeal or something later on. On to day 4....and good luck to everyone on their next day as well. Keep up the good work. |

I wound up in the hospital this morning with yet another kidney infection, had a few bites of salad for lunch and that is pretty much it. I'll be knocked out of the exercising ring for a few days, I just hope that it doesn't sabotage me. I hope everyone had a great day...I really love this diet so far...it doesn't even feel like a diet. Although I have to admitt than when I am sick...I seriously want comfort food...ie; mashed potatos, cheesey noodles...pasta. I have the feeling that the next few days are going to be rough. |

Anyways yesterday I worked... so super stressful day! I'm so sick of this job, doing a million things at once and only being one person. All the stress makes my stomach hurt and seriously makes me want to BINGE EAT! I'm so glad my last day is Mar 8th. We always have lots of goodies sitting out to since my boss feels bad we're over worked... yesterday was an assortment of cookies... I didn't eat any! I did want to eat as soon as I got home though :( The first day that's happened... I don't like eating so close to bed time... I got off work at midnight and ate some broccoli! lol So I'm happy I ate something healthy. Kari... YOu are really testing yourself! Good job :) On Wednesday my family and I had a day trip and they all ate huge polish hot dogs with all the works.. they smelt so delicious lol But I resisted! WE CAN DO IT!!! I love how everytime I dont eat a certain thing I feel so good about myself! Will power! Sorry about the hospital visit! =( Maybe you can get lots of soups to help you out... Sorry I haven't posted, things got chaotic between school/work/sorority (i advise my chapter now that I am an alumna).... just busy busy busy! Plus I have been working out like a fool! Did 2 miles today, plus eliptical for 30 hour and then a bit of weights, but not much, lol... Oh! New foods... try the fit and light smoothies, mmmmmmm! I use those as breakfast and have a glass of 100% juice with it- try the V8 Fusions, omg great!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAND hot pockets make a wheat version in the lean pockets, AMAZING. Let me think..... hummus too! You can have reduced fat wheat thins or the ever awesome light toritilla chips lays makes (hello- only 1 gram of fat, nice!) Anyways.... there are lots of yummy things you can eat, which is great. I just hate how expensive it is to be healthy! :) Anyways, those are just some things I have eat now, or in the past, that work well. Diet is still going well- it's nice to have you guys, and also my friend cari who is doing this with me. I am going home to Wisconsin from the 7-12th of march, and hopefully things can still go well there weight wise.... Anyways, I will be talking to you all later! Homework calls....boo. -Kristin |

Yesterday hubby surprised me with the best ever lentil cream soup. I think it would be a FS-approved recipe (onion, green lentils, carrots, garlic and maybe 2 tbsp olive oil for a 3 quart pot). I looooove lentils!!! I'm from Europe and we don't use them as much as we should, but I'm atypical with my beans - I love them! I think that if I try FS, I would binge on beans and actually gain some weight (too much hurts anytime). I'm so happy you're all doing so well, I'm watching you for inspiration! |
Hello ladies! Today I kind of got thrown off schedule, but I still stuck to it! I've been applying for soem government jobs and one required that you take a 3 hour test which is what I did today. I don't feel like i ate that much today, but I was full for the most part. I had 2 yogurts, 2 rice cakes, and 2 bags of steamed cauliflower, and 2 boca burger patties. 2 of everything! lol! I'll eat my oatmeal in the morning though for my fiber. Today is officially day 6 of phase 1 for me! Oh, I found some Progresso Lentil soup, but I didn't know if it was ok, especially since there was 840 mg of sodium. Are those canned soups ok like the healthy kinds w/o all that sodium? That would be a nice option for work if it was.

Oh my goodness!!!!! I know you're not supposed to look at the scale to day 10, but I just had to look!!! I'm down 6 pounds guys and I still have 2 days to go!!!! I could not be happier!!! I broke through my normal water weight plateau!!! I am too excited about this! Oh also, I went to this restaurant called Ghengis Khan (sp?) and its a Mongolian Bar-b-que restaurant. They had a buffet that is $14.50 but the vegetarian buffet was only $10! SO that's what I got! I tried some soy beans and tofu....don't like tofu, but the beans were ok. I had bean sprouts, carrots, onions, bamboo shoots, pineappple, corn, green onions.....and I think that's it. It was pretty good! I was glad I was able to still go out to dinner with my husband and be able to enjoy the food! I thought I was gonna have to just sit there!

Hello Everyone...sorry for not posting...been down with awful kidney infection,ans the drugs make me sick. Been sticking to the diet, but not having any energy at all, just laying in bed getting better. Hopefully will feel back to my self in the next day or two...I weigh in on Wed. and am nervous that I haven't lost any weight. I've also seriously been craving sugary starchy foods...i think because I'm sick...but not sure. It sounds like every one is doing great...good job on the weight lost and good luck to all.

Extreme Fat Smash Check In
Hello, Today is Sunday day 7 of phase 2. As of 2 days ago on Friday my weight was 236. I have lost 9 pnds so far. I will weigh in again tomorrow which is officially the end of my 2nd week. I started at 245 pounds.
At first I had to get accustomed to the frequent meals. Every so many hours. It is actually cool because I do not feel hungry. I love this program. I am new to this site so sometimes its hard looking for my post to see any responses, feedbacks, and so on. I am still learning this site. One thing I can definitely say is this site is beautiful and all of the members are great. Very motivational. |

Hey ladies! Sounds like everyone is having a pretty good weekend. I myself had an awesome weekend, not fat smash wise tho, lol. But I never get to see my best friend (aka would be my boyfriend if he didn't live in Cali) so I decided I wasn't going to worry about that. I didn't do horrible, but not good either. But it was back to business as soon as I got home tonight.
I have to admit I was having a little pity party for myself on the drive home (2 1/2 hours) , starting to feel bad for not eating right, my friend leaving, etc so as soon as I got home my son and I went for a long walk. On my walk I decided to pop in the gym and weigh in there because I hadn't got to since I started fat smash and it says I am down 16 lbs from the beginning of the year ... approx 9 lbs since the start of fat smash. YAY!!! This made me feel a little better, and I will use the "real" scale from now on :) So at least the guilt from my eating this weekend isn't as bad now lol. Have a good night ladies! |

Well girls, my good news is here! Just check the ticker.... :) I had a HORRIBLE day yesterday, gym was full.... have a midterm today. BUT I still had a great WI today.... down 8 lbs. I am so exicted and I NEVER NEVER wanna see my weight that high again! (It was only that high for one month, but still freaks me out I usually weigh like 175-180 but like I said a bunch of medicine last summer causes about a 20lb weight gain) Ok I have to study, but I will talk to you all really soon!!! Keep your fingers cross for this midterm! |

WOW!!! I am so amazed ast how well everyone is doing...how often do you hear people say that they love the diet their on? It really is good too...I'm starting to feel a little better (am actually up and dressed today).

Today is day 8 for me and two more days till weigh in. I'm really nervous but hopeful too. Sticking to the diet...I haven't had a soda in 8 days!! but they don't even seem appealing to me. It's so strange to write that! Sticking to Fruit and yogurt for breakfast...salad for lunch and steamed veggies with beans for dinner and sometimes brown rice. with lots and lots o water... i hope everyone had a great day! I'm off to do more wedding planning. |
Yay Kari, sounds like you are doing great, I'm sure you will be pleasantly suprised when you weigh in. Good luck to you! I was the same way with chocolate, as you are with soda... I used to have to have it in the house, and now I haven't had it in the house for three weeks and I didn't even realize it was that long till just now. I really like this plan :)

Jillnicole: I'm so jealous you get to have Special K!! That sounds so good right now!! =D Well, I'm on the last day!! Day 9 of Detox! I shouldn't have weighed myself because now I'm paranoid that I went up or something! The day before yesterday was strange because I had this intense hunger for some reason! I think it was because I didn't space out my food right. I ended up having 2 cups of oatmeal instead of 1 and 3 rice cakes instead of 2. Plus, I got some vegetable soup, but there were white potato chunks in it and I ate them anyway. Not all of them though. I also had like 3 boca burger patties! I don't know what was going on! I was out of my steam veggie bags though and normally that is like a meal for me. I was much better yesterday though! lol! I also did my Tae Bo workout! I loved it! It was the "celebrity fit cardio" version. Very fun! My husband was having fun watching me do it along with my son! lol! I can't wait for my weigh in though! I'm so excited about it! If this is the hardest part....I think the rest will be a breeze!! |
Hey girls! Hope everything is going well. We had a killer winter storm yesterday, NO NIGHT CLASS! My university NEVER cancels class but there was so much rain, sleet, ice, and snow that they did. So that was fun! I am leaving for spring break in 2 days, going to Wisconsin to visit family with my friend. I am pretty excited, I love going home!!!

Today I ate not so great still, lots of stressors right now, but still haven't given in to any of the "comfort" foods I thought I'd miss. I have been having the opposite problem of not being hungry at all.... which is soo not me ;)

okay i was gone for a minute but i'm back. i started again today (famous quote you'll probably hear again!). I had knee surgery feb 12th and my mom sent me sugar cookies bless her heart she made and they were fabulous and then a friend has sent me 3 boxes of cereal (my addiction) and 2 boxes of girl scout cookies (thought the girl scouts were supposed to do good deeds - why don't they sell like raisins?!) soooo...i had to eat all the carbs (you didnt' think i would throw away good food did u?!) so i'm back on track and ready to be. i think i overate today and cheated a little (tuna salad with relish) but tomorrow will be better.

Well we ended up going later than I realized so I ate a salad before we left and then ate when I got to the restaurant :/ So that threw me off track. Jill~ Yay for you about thinking about going to school. I recently just went back to finish a degree. I really wish I would have gone when I was younger. :cp: I say have fun and enjoy yourself this weekend, obviously without going overboard. You are taking your own food so that should be a big plus. And if you decide to have one drink it's not gonna mess things up for you. And that's one of the best parts about this program even if you do mess up a little you can always go back to phase one for a couple days to get back on track. Also you can just make sure you do a lot of dancing :dance: But really, I think you will do great!
For me today B ~ granola bar, banana and milk L~ veggies and veggie burger (somehow I missed a snack today, had to run to the store after work, we are suppose to get somewhere between 4 -11 inches of snow tonight... I am so ready for spring!) D~ no fat refried beans, peppers, lite sour cream, brown rice and veggies Later I will probably have a snack, either grapes or some almonds... and i should probably head to the gym haven't been in a couple days.:woops: |
Hey guys! Today is the start of Phase 2 and I did my weigh in this morning! I lost 7 lbs already! i'm so happy I can barely contain myself!! It was so exciting!
Jillnicole: I think I'm gonna be like you and stay away from meat and fish only unless I go out to eat or something. I really like getting full of the the veggies and fruits! I pretty much just eat those steam bag veggies, yogurt, applesauce (unsweetened w/ nothing else added), oatmeal, and boco burgers! I got some bananas the other day too so I can have more food that I can just grab and go! I WILL start eating my cereal again! I'm the happiest about that! lol! MY bran flakes of course. I talked to this girl I used to work with and she asked me which diet I was on and I told her and she told me how she's doing the Extrememf FSD and how she lost 51 lbs and kept it off ever since july! She showed me her before and after pix and she looks hot! I was so motivated by it! Another successful Smasher! :carrot: She had the same stats I did and lost the same amount so I'm really pumped now! |

jillnicole - i am in human resources and have an idea for you...i work for verizon wireless and we offer 4000 per year tuition reimbursement for our part timers and 8000 per year for our full timers. not sure if there is a retail store around you but even if not maybe you could look into other retail stores that provide tuition reimbursement and retail can also provide a flexible schedule. while, we do prefer degreed applicants, you can meet the store manager and sell yourself with your drive and determination!!! now then onto to the food! breakfast - weight control oatmeal packet snack - grapes lunch - apple and celery dinner - sweet potato fries, brown rice and black beans, and fat smash cookies followed up by a caffeine free diet coke (leftover from my surgery treats to myself but all gone now - i usually don't drink soda/pop!) weekends are very hard as i enjoy drinking and i go into nyc every weekend and party and hang out so off i go tomorrow and i'll post on sunday night. good luck girls we can be skinny or some shade of skinny by summer!!!!!:D |
