Hi everybody,
I started diet today, looking forward to being part of this new diet revolution. I lost 35 pounds on Atkins but had a baby and all was lost; this diet seems less restricted.

Hi - I started last Friday. It's really a good diet. I'm not a vegetable eater but I have come to really love Stir Fry Veggies. I have also made a lot of beans. I'm in New Orleans Red Beans are a staple. I have Red Beans and Brown Rice, Split Pea Soup. And here's a recipe that filling and good.

Saute and onion
Add a bag of frozen corn
Two cans of Black beans
1 can Diced Tomatoes.
A little Cumin if you like

Let it cook for 30 minutes on low heat. Yum and it's filling.

I could not wait until Sunday to weigh myself so I weighed to day and I have lost 7 lbs. I have a cousin who did the diet and she lost 30lbs.

You can do it. Just keep counting down the days of detox.

Hello Chitownrn, this diet is really great. I'm on day 4 of the detox phase and I actually don't have any hunger pangs. I only feel hungry when it close to meal times (breakfast, lunch, dinner). I have come to join brown rice and it really is filling. Tonight I'm trying stuffed green peppers with rice, corn and tomato sauce...i hope its yummy!

I have found some great recipes on the recipe thread at the top of the forum. I have made a few and they weren't to bad.

I wish you success!
