Good Morning to all the new fat smashers that started today. I am not a big breakfast person, but here is what I have had so far for today:

2 pieces of honeydew melon
1 fat free yogurt
water

I haven't a clue on what to have for lunch. Probably a salad with garbanzo beans because the other beans I need to cook in the crock pot. For dinner it's brown fried rice and probably squash with onions in a little olive oil. Weird combo but it will fill me up.

I love reading what others eat during the day. Gives me motivation that I can do this.. I am determined this time. I did well on Weight Watchers a few years ago and did well, but Fat Smashing just makes sense to me a little more. Okay, ya'll have a wondeful day and keep up the GREAT work!

Hi everyone!

I just started FS today and my fiance is starting on Thursday when he gets back from a work trip. I am really excited and hope this works! I am glad this thread has been started because I need all the support I can get.

Today:
Fruit salad
Water

I think I might have egg whites and veggies for lunch and dinner will be a salad with beans.

This day has been a lot harder then I thought, but I am making it.

Breakfast - 1/2 cup oatmeal w/ 1 packet splenda and a tiny bit of "I can't believe it's not butter"

Snack - 1 banana and three strawberries

Lunch - Salad w/ dark green lettuce, grated carrots, tomatoes, and 1 tsp fat free dressing

Snack - 1 apple

Supper - (haven't had it yet) Baked brown rice w/ grilled veggies, such as bell peppers, carrots, and squash.

And TONS of water throughout the day. (not a big fan of the milk or herbal tea)

My boyfriend is having a harder time with this then I am because his coworkers eat fast food every day. He doesn't like eating a salad when his friends are eating hamburgers and fries.

I started today too!! I saw it on the Tyra show and it inspired me to go out and get the book. I was very excited to start today. I have been on WW for years, it was time to change it up.

So I didn't exercise like i should've yesterday. So today I'm gonna do the Harvey Fight Fit, Fight Fat DVD that I ordered along with my FS book. I'm really excited about this diet and I hope that I can shed the pounds easily. One question though:

I was thinking of ordering Broccoli with Garlic Sauce from a Chinese resturant...do you think that will be good for Phase 1? It has no meat in it, and it's just broccoli and garlic and i guess a bunch of other herbs.

Hey everyone

Last night I had a great dinner. I bought some Morningstar Farms® Meal Starters™ Grillers® Recipe Crumbles™. It was great, it's supposed to be a ground beef substitute so I grilled some green, orange, red peppers, onion, garlic and mushrooms and I mixed it with the Crunmbles and 1 cup of cooked brown rice. I sprinkled some garlic tobasco sauce and was in heaven.

I thought for sure any veggie meat (thats what I call it) would be gross but my best friend (who is a vegetarian) said morningstar made the best. It made my dining experience so much better seeing as I was fully satisfied. Again I have a pic of the dish on my blog if you wanna check it out.

This morning I had oatmeal with blueberries, I was to lazy to do an egg-white omelet. For my morning snack I'm going to have Mango..Yum

Have a good day everyone!

I am going to have to try that (Morningstar Farms® Meal Starters™ Grillers® Recipe Crumbles™). I bet that would be good in chili... since we can't have meat yet. I will pick some up today. Last night dinner was so so...I had fried rice with cabbage, onions, egg whites...i also made squash with onions and then a blueberry smoothie. Later on i finished the rest of the rice because I was a little hungry. Today here is my menu:

Morning: 3 slices honey dew and cantelope

Lunch: salad with veggies and garbanzo beans
Green beans salad (cold green beans, onion, vinegar and a little splenda

Dinner: Veggie Chili.........boy am I gonna miss the cornbread with this!!!

WATER...WATER... and more water....

I have a headache today and I did yesterday but i think it might be because i have cut out my diet cokes.

Good luck to everyone today!!!
