Default a MAN!?!?

Hi ladies and I wonder...any men?

I've been lurching here for a week, because...all I see is ladies posting. Wondering if I'm not suppose to be here.... Started the diet on Tuesday after Memorial day and so far have lost 4 pounds. My 20 year old son and I are on this, he has @ 20-30 pounds to lose.

It has been easy as far as staying full; however, we are struggling with new stuff to eat. Seem to be eating the same stuff over and over. One veggie that has been a savior is Edamame (soy beans). Great for snacking. Find them in frozen food aisle with beens. I'm munching now on them.

On Friday, I decided to do the gym twice each day. I go in morning before work for 1/2 hour and then after work for 1/2 cardio. I think this should kick up the weight lose. 9 days on Thursday... I need a steak badly!!!

Welcome Mac! I've seena few men on the boards, not sure about the FSD as I'm new to this particular diet. Good luck. I've had nice support (I'm starting tomorrow) & in reading, have had a LOT of questions answered!

There are several men on the boards and they are very successful and inspiring, too.

Thanks for all your kind words!

Regarding the gym twice a day...it is because I cannot stand to be on the cardio machines over a 1/2 hour...I go nuts. Even with headset and listening to the TV. It's the will power I need there.

Keep up the good work!

Keith

Hi, I think you will like FS....I started on May 1st, and I have lost 21 lbs! I really think the big key to this diet is eating every 3 hours. I feel like I have turned my body into a machine...best of luck!!!
