Well, Sweetme, the closest I am can come to that is that my SO is Atkins and I am on Fat Smash! I just have to say the original FS phase I is so healthy, and since you are already used to not having the bread, you might find it very refreshing......I am having roasted cauliflower tonight, which you could have on Atkins, too...can't wait.

Default not a true switcher

Hi Sweetmel -
I can't say that I'm a true switcher, but I've tried just about every weight loss program known to the human race ! I tried Atkins a while ago, and like you, really missed certain things. Although I haven't been a FSer for long, just being able to have fruit has made this bearable, even enjoyable, for me. The brown rice in P1 seems to fill the carb demon in me, too.

Good luck!

Yanno, I just have to add, this is the first diet I have ever been in love with......totally pumped up, feeling light and definitely eating more healthfully than I ever have in my life. I originally lost all my wt. (80#s) by just eating exactly what I wanted, just less of it. I kept the wt. off for 4 years and then got caught up in eating too much, being so d---- focused on food and wanting the quantity....I can stick with Phase I of the original Fat Smash, and after detox just add some salmon and fish and do this until I am at 135#. I know I can..the fiber is amazingly filling........for those who don't like oatmeal, I don't think it would mess things up too badly to use Kashi GO Lean instead.....just a thought. I am not a fan of extreme.....kudos to those of you who are pumped up and doing it...I just couldn't.
