Default Fat Smashers Weekly Support~2/12-2/18






Good Morning Smashers!

I hope you all had a good weekend and are ready to really smash some fat this week!!! I know I am. I ate off plan this weekend.. so I am ready to get back on plan. I have to learn to resist dh's cooking when he is home. He made hamburgers one day and BBQ chicken breasts another day. I am going to have to talk to him. I need him to work with me instead of against me. But, the positive side to it is that I had more "on plan" days last week than I did "off plan" days.

Well, it is 4 am. Dh just left for work. I sure miss him when he is gone. 11 days is a long time. Anyway... I am going to try to get some more sleep before Joshua wakes up. He will probably be up in a couple of hours. UGH!

Good morning beautiful smashers.
Hope all had a good weekend and ready to start smahing!! lol

Sherry - I will join you in not so on tract this weekend. The main thing
that we are getting back on plan today!! we can do it!! sorry about
your dh, My dd knows how you feel, my sil travels alot in differnt
states.The good news is that he is coming to Dallas home to work
at the end of the month. for around 5months. That will be awsome
for all of us. We all miss him , he is a great guy. lol

Lem- I guess you are a married women by now?????congrats on your
marriage. may you be as happy as you are today always. lol

Hello to all of you lovely smashers, just remember we can do this , and will.
we are fighters and will never give up!! we are strong women , and will
BE , DO AND HAVE . BE COMMITED AND DO WHAT IT TAKES TO HAVE
WHAT YOU WANT.

Iam off today for my pre -birday . It isnt until tomorrow. Maybe that is
why i was off tract this weekend!! hew!! hew!! a year older!! who knows.
but the main thing iam back on tract. Ladies kick me<<<<<<<lol

Hello Smashers!!!!! Sherry and Bouncy, I almost did the same thing and went off track, but I couldn't do it. I would of felt guilty! I was thisclose to going off. After seeing spaghetti being served, I was wanting other food.
You guys can do it!!! Dust yourselves off and do it again! LOL
I have 2 days left (including today), but will still be sticking very closely to Phase 1. Probably eating what I eat most of the time, but sparingly allowing myself "fun" stuff. Good Luck to you all, and Here's to another day of SMASHING!!!!

Linda~ So, you lost your will power this weekend, too.. huh? UGH!! I was so weak! ): I do so good when dh is gone. But, I don't want him to be gone all of the time.. lol. SO, I gotta find a way to stay on track when he is here.
HAPPY EARLY BIRTHDAY!!

Tinky~ I am so proud of you for staying on plan!!! Can't wait to see your detox results! You are doing so good! Keep it up. You are a motivator to us all.

I am on plan today! I am cooking a big pot of veggie soup. I plan on cooking a big pot of beans later.

proud of you sweetie. Mine was a binge . I havent had one in a long time.
Thanks Sherry , yes mam we can do it!! I Know you will find a way to
stay on tract when dh is here. lol I just came back from curves. So i feel
good about that. Will do a 4mile walk with leslie. Will report back later.
so you ladies can hold me accountable. hew!! hew!! myself included.
Girfriends it feels like these3lbs or 20!! I know i cAN stand to gain anymore
weight. lol I will and sherry you will do it!! thanks Tinky again. You did it!!

Hello everyone. I am so excited. I am on day 8 of phase I and I have lost 16 pounds! The diet and 2 hours of cardio a day have been paying off!

Remember, losing weight is 30% working out and 70% what you put in your mouth!

Thanks everyone. The diet has been the easiest part for me so far, and I thought it would be tough since I am a meat eater

My typical meals are:

Smoothie - 1C skim milk, 6 oz plain FF yogurt, 1/2 banana, few fresh starwberries, ice

Mexi Rice - 1/2 can Black beans, 1 C brown rice, 1/4 C corn, few olives sliced, few tablespoons salsa

Fruit & Yogurt - 6oz FF yopliat yogurt(various flavors), 1 C fruit (usually grapes, banana, pears, peaches)

Breakfast Scramble - 4 egg whites, 1/4 c green pepper, 1/2 roma tomato

Popcorn - the light natural kind, 2 x's a week as a treat

Veggie Soup- modified from the Fat Smash Diet book, added 1 c brown rice, 1 can stewed and italian flavored tomatoes and eliminated mushrooms.

Rice & Veggies - 1 C brown rice, 1 cup veggie (brocolli or zuchinni)

Banana Oatmeal - 1 C cooked regular oatmeal, 1/2 banana, dash cinnamon, 1 pkt splenda

I'm still looking for recipies to modify for the diet to spice my meals up a bit, but these have been working well for me.

hey Ladies,
day 4 and going strong. I have been tryng to resit the scale that is one of my other addictions. as if caffeine, and food weren't enough, I tend to weigh my self 4 times a day. so I have put the scale away until next sunday, the end of phase 1.
I had a good weekend. I took my son to the movies and for the first time in a longs time, I made it through with out even a taste of his popcorn or a snack of my own. I took some crystal light. I know that isn't technically on Phase 1 but I figured it was better than breaking down and buying a diet coke.

Have you all shared sample menues? iss there somewhere on her already with those. I kind of feel like I am eating a lot and wanted to see what you all are doing and what the 4-5 meals a day looks like for different people. I still have been doing the 3 main meals and havnig fruit for snacks.

Sherry and Bouncy- Thanks!! It was hard, but I did thank myself for sticking!
You guys are also great motivators as well!!! You guys can do it!! We're gonna be some hot mamas by summer time!!! All of us!!!

Jen- here is my menu for today

B: 1 c oatmeal with splenda and a 2 tbs milk
S1: fat free vanilla yogurt with berries, and one c of mixed melons
L: 2 c of Vegetable Soup, and a c of carrots
S: 1 c of strawberries
D: 1 c of brwn rice, and some chili
S: nectarine

and water water water.....

B- oatmeal, splenda, banbana
S= apple with yougart
L- grilled z- squash, onion bell pepper 1/2 c. brown rice with
1T balsamic vinegar green tea
S- smoothie strawberries splenda 1t. yougart with crushed ice.
D- Chipotle Black Bean Soup cucumbers and tomatoes and onion
salad with 1t. rf ranch dressing green tea

Had 6 glasses of water . Did curves 30 min this am. fixing to work out
with leslie 4 miles.

Thank all of you board family for all your help. Yes we caN do it!! so lets
do it!! spring is coming. lol see all later.
