Hi everyone! I'm just getting a little time to relax tonight (BUSY BUSY week :comp:) so I thought I'd come in and say hello! :wave: I feel bad that I don't get to stop by as often as I like, but I do think of you all often!

Not much new going on with me. Tonight DH and I had some nummy yummy applesauce pancakes in honor of Shrove Tuesday. (Lent beginning tomorrow, WHERE is the time going? :dunno:) I am up to six law school acceptances (three more apps pending) and fear that this is going to be a difficult decision. Duke was initially my clear first choice, but now that I'm getting some good offers from other schools, I'm a bit unsure. My graduate school research is keeping me more and more occupied every day. My dissertation deadline is July 21, so I have to buckle down and work :write: work :write: work :write: for five more months. Then I PAR-TAY!!! :hat:

Gary ~ Happy belated birthday! :hb: I hope it was a good one. I am going to make a note of that chicken recipe. Sounds delicious and like something my DH would really enjoy!

Wilma ~ Your orange chicken recipe looks YUMMY! I love the combination of citrus and chicken, so I will give this one a try soon, I think.

Just a note before I head off to work ~ Thanks so much for all the birthday wishes! I had a great 52nd birthday :carrot: Our family went out for mexican food at a restaurant we have been going to since I was 12 ~ 40 years! Same owners too, although their grandkids do most of the work now. My son got me a really cool long sleeve football T shirt from USC 1972 ~ my favorite gift was from my daughter, a list of 52 reasons why she loves her daddy :hug: Angie gave me what I always ask for ;)

I don't have time to post to all of you ~ I have read the posts and will catch up soon ~ until then ~~~~~~~~~

Hello Everyone,
I am new here and just wanted to say a quick hello and I look forward to getting to know some folks. I just watched a TV Show, here in Tennessee with our 3 Chicks!! They were great!! I could use some support and encouragement myself. I am trying to lose about 40 pounds that I have regained this past year. I look forward to a slimmer trimmer me!! I know all of you can do it, too!! We will do it together, afterall with God for us, who can be agaianst us? Amen!!
