Thanks Bootsie, for the welcome. I will pray you can overcome the emotional eating too. It is hard for me to overcome it, I do ok for awhile, but then I am right back stuffing myself. I will pray for you.

BOOTSIE ~ yes, grief is a strong, emotional feeling; and it takes time to heal, as the pain lessens ... prayers continue ... I was just reading in a book recently about this famous saying -- "The beauty remains, but the pain passes ..." In Isaiah 61:1-3, the Lord says that He will "bind up the broken-hearted ... comfort all who mourn ... give us Beauty for ashes, the oil of Joy for mourning, the Garment of Praise for the spirit of heaviness" ...
Posted a prayer request on Prayer Warriors. Had a meeting with my oncologist yeterday, my cancer is progressing slowly, bone scan shows it appearing in two new sites. Requesting prayer at this time. Thanks and God Bless You All.
