THANKS EVERYONE for your prayers ~ the car is fixed (we get the bill tomorrow, but I'm sure it won't be too big as the mechanic was here only 5 minutes ... hehe ... it was just an itsy-bitsy little fuse (just as I thought). GOD is good; GOD is faithful, as always! And thanks to all of you who prayed for us, you are faithful too!

BTW, the trailer is on HOLDING PATTERN for now, as that is what blew the fuse on the car, and the car is more important right now. We are looking for another idea for hauling stuff ...

Thanks again ... Rosebud

Can you rent a pickup or trailer to transport the generator and the other items, could be cheaper .You would only need it long enough to deliver the generator, etc, not keeping it all summer.

GOOD NEWS ~ thanks for the prayers and ideas too. When DH went to pay the bill they discovered it had nothing to do with the trailer, it was the BRAKE fuse and sensors giving us the problems. They fixed that and the bill was under $100; yeah!

THANKS BARGOO ~ that's exactly what Dh was thinking of doing, but then the mechanic gave him some tips and he spent the entire day working on those wires and EUREKA -- he fixed them!!!

THANKS everyone for all the prayers and support ~ prayers were answered pretty fast; TYF and PTL! DH is a happy camper tonight ...

Also our boy (NIKO) got lost yesterday; we were both pretty upset -- so I prayed for a sign and received an answer that he was just at the neighbours and he was. Poor DH had spent all morning biking all over town to find him! Poor NIKO sustained a bad cut on his right ear; got blood all over the kitchen; but I used an old trick of PEROXIDE to stop it. Thank goodness, I'm not a panicker like my DH. Long story short -- Our boy is safe and sound and his wound is healing up nicely. PRAISE GOD!

CIECIE ~ sorry, I must explain to you that NIKO (who we affectionately refer to as our boy) is our furry canine baby. Becuz we never had children (sadly, I had three miscarriages and the last one lost twins), we have always have had pets instead and our favorite are of the canine variety (namely dogs).

We had two girls (SWEETIE & PIN PIN) who both passed last year () as they were both older furry babies, so we were heart-broken and missed them terribly, so a friend felt so bad for us that he contacted a dog rescuer and one week later, at 11 pm, a man came knocking on our door with our newest family addition, a sweet black lab/border collie mix young fella.

THANKS FOR ALL YOUR PRAYERS, and here's a picture of our boy, NIKO ...

BOOTSIE ~ THANKS FOR YOUR PRAYERS FOR my SM GRACE and my Dad; they have been through a lot this year and I know they would appreciate that very much. She is recovering and we hope that they got all the cancer this time and she can be free of it forever ...

Hi everyone. I am new to these message boards but I hope you will welcome me with open arms.

My boyfriends father has been diagnosed with Esophageal Cancer. They don't know the stages or possible treatments yet but from what I have researched online it does not look very good. But I believe in the power of God and faith so please if you can say a prayer for him?

Also pray for my boyfriend, who may find strength to help his dad through this difficult time and strength in himself. My boyfriend has said that if his parents aren't alive anymore that That is when he will be ready to die to. Both his mom and dad have already had heart attacks and had stints put in. They are life long smokers. My boyfriend has been a smoker for about 4 years himself. I worry so much about him.

I've never yet in my life experienced a serious illness or death among anyone I am close to. So I can't fathom how to deal with this or help him cope besides being supportive and caring both to him and his dad -- however I can help I will. But I really hope God has a plan for him to survive this and give my boyfriend a little more time with his parents on this earth.
