Please pray for my two sons Tim and Dave in the past week they have lost 3 cousins ; In a 4 day period 3 cousins passed away. They are from their father's side of the family.
GEE BARGOO ~ that is so strange; never heard of that, and in only a few days like that too. Must have come as a very big shock to them. Have sent up prayers for your sons and your DH's family too ...

Oh how sad Bargoo. My kids are so close with their cousins it be devastating to them too. Prayers for the entire family as they go through this very difficult time.
My daughter in law got a call from her sister yesterday while we were at the house, over hearing because we were all in the same area, it sounded like her father has taken a turn for the worse.....she did not mention it after she got off the phone though...kind of the way she is...right back to her cheerful self....I think it is her "defense mechanism"....anyway, asking for continued prayers for Jeff.
My daughter in law, Nicole, just called and asked me to place her dad, Jeff, on the prayer list again for today...he goes in for surgery this morning for complications of the pump they put in his spine.
Angie and I were at the kid's house painting and Nicole got a call saying that the dr's. took the pump out and Jeff is in ICU right now....that is all we have.
I thank you all for the prayers.
Nicole told me today while we were painting....Gary, I don't know what is going to happen to my dad but we sure need to thank God every day for our health don't we. I told her that it was our nature to remember to thank Him for our health most of the time when we felt bad....but yes, we should thank Him daily for that.
Sally has been transfered to a hospital near home. This is wonderful news. She will be in for another 4 weeks until she can be weight bearing. I went to visit this afternoon. It was so nice to see her! The sparkle in her eye is there. She was feeling blue/why me yesterday but that is mostly since it was monday and it was a quiter day with fewer visitors. Her left leg is very colourful from hip to toes! She was exposed to VRE (?) bacteria at the 1st hospital so she has been on antibiotics for that. Will be going back to see her tomorrow!
Thanks for the update on SALLY ~ will send up some prayers regarding that bacterial infection and for PEACE for her mind. She must remember that accidents happen, and it was out of her hands; but thank GOD she is alive and getting better all the time ...

PRAYER REQUEST PLEASE ~ I have a different kind of prayer request for you all today. DH went to use our trailer yesterday and discovered that the brake and signal lights weren't working right. So this afternoon, he went and picked up some parts and got everything set up to try out.
Then he went to hook up the car; and the car runs fine, but now the gears won't kick in for some reason and wouldn't budge. My DH knows a lot about cars, but he says that he has never had this happen to him before in his life; he says that the gears (drive/reverse/etc) appear to be jammed.
So ... long story short -- we need prayers that we can get this car working properly without costing too much, then the trailer lights must work properly, so we can use it to pick up our generator and transport stuff to and from the our lot this summer. Thanks for your prayers ... they are very appreciated.
