Question Anybody else experience this?

The more I exercise the more I notice that within a half an hour of completing whatever it is I have decided to do (aerobics, dance, weights, etc.) I get super cold, and have to cover up with a blanket to keep warm. Now I do drink a lot of water while I'm exercising (they say you're supposed to right?!) and I tend to have a whole glass of it once I'm done too. Not sure if that could be affecting things or not.

I was just wondering if this is normal? Any suggestions on what I could try to prevent this from happening?

Thanks for the input.

Kim, sometimes this happens to me. I am always cold under most circumstances but after exercising if I cool down in a draft or near a fan I will get chills. And they will last awhile. The only way for me to combat this is to cool down away from cold air and then take a shower as soon as I've stopped sweating.

I've had this happen too and it's from being wet after working out, I take a shower and change into dry clothes and I'm good... We do sweat in order for our bodies too cool us off...

Yes it happens to me but only in the winter. I stay cold for a few hours afterwards. I take a hot shower then dress in my warmest clothes.

Kat311 - first let me say I'm guessing based on a completely different set of circumstances! Do you have issues with your thyroid? The reason that I ask is that I have a lot of clients that do and will get very cold during a massage - even sports massage. (a more quick moving and active massage)
