Yesterday (Monday) I was too tired from my over-active weekend and couldn't muster the energy for a walk. However, I'm meeting my training partner at 6:15pm tonight for a walk, so no excuses today!
Here's my plan for the rest of the month...
Tuesday - 11 miles
Wednesday - cross train + 3 miles
Thursday - 6 miles
Friday - 3 miles
Saturday - Day off for birthday!
Sunday - Swim in the ocean!
Monday - I'll be flying for work all day, so no planned exercise
If I follow this plan, I'll meet my miles for the month. And, since I have a lot of wiggle room in the schedule, I can always make up miles over the weekend if I don't meet my mileage goals over the next three days.

Hi everyone! Been too crazy busy to drop by lately. Been doing my usual 2 - 3 mile walks and then did a training walk for the Breast Cancer Walk on Sunday. I learned that walking past the 10 mile point gives me sore hips! So it looks like I need to be really working on those longer walks.
Good afternoon all~ I had to recount my miles this morning. I discovered I'd forgotten to add a day's miles. It's kinda nice to have to revise the miles upward- so long as the scale isn't going upward too!

Overage (YAY!)- 2.5

Can't remember the last time I was here--it's probably been a week. I've been doing about 2 miles a day most days. Yesterday, I did 4.13 miles betweeen 3 different 1 mile WATP's and 1.13 miles on the treadmill. Hoping for a similar workout today.
July 23: 2 mile WATP for abs
July 24: Walk & Kick (2 miles)
July 25: Power Mile, Morning Mile and Muscle Mile all with 3 pound weights PLUS 20 minutes (1.13 miles) on treadmill

My training partner bailed on me last night, so I ended up doing 11 miles solo. I walked 1.5 miles from my house to this lake in my neighborhood, which has a 0.9 mile path around it. 9 laps around the lake plus the 3 mile round trip walk to and from my house equals about 11 miles.

My training partner and I are now supposed to meet on Thursday night for a long walk. I'm going to try for 12 miles Thursday night to bring me to my July mileage goal of 114 miles!!!!

Thanks, Genesis! I DID reach my goal this morning by doing the 3 mile Express! Then I went shopping with DS to get the rest of the things we need before we leave for vacation on Wed. I already have more than 14000 steps and it's not even 5pm!
