Well, I'm out of the June walking challenge. I'll continue to walk as my knee condition permits, but it's getting worse, going out on me during just normal standing and walking, and I've had some scary news medically about it. Until I get more testing and make some progress with the prescribed physican therapy, I need to coddle it. Though on good days, I'll risk walking as far as I'm able.
Hey all - I just started a walking program and I wanted to join the thread!! Talk about last minute, but better late than never, right? I did 2 miles yesterday and 4 miles today. I guess I will make my June (whats left of it) goal 20 miles.
Got in a 2 mile WATP on Saturday and again today. I'm now at 60 miles by my calculations. Not gonna reach my 80 mile goal. Think now that I'm lifting weights as well as walking I'm going to have to rethink my goal next month. I don't do as long of a walk on the days I'm lifting.
Hey all - I did 2.5 miles today, and it is blazin' hot up here in the Pacific Northwest!! I have to say that I am loving every minute of it; I am actually suprised at how dry the heat is here...Anyway - I just wanted to post my progress!!!
It's a little late for me to jump in on the June walking challenge but I'm making it a goal to walk at least 75 miles for July! Hope you don't mind me joining you!
