Hubby is gone til Sunday, so Mom's Taxi Service is working extra hours. That doesn't leave much time for exercising, but I did do the Muscle Mile with 2 pound weights tonight while the kids were at the church group.

I dragged my butt into the gym last night. 3 miles on the elliptical thing. I've had 2 parades the last 2 weekends too, and have been wearing my pedometer every day and trying to go for a walk at work.

I did the 30 Minute Walk this morning, which is 2 miles. Hoping for more later. I am motivated to break some personal records SOON! I have already walked more days in 2006 that in ALL of 2005! Now, I'm going for more MILES in 2006 than in 2005 (I have 26.45 miles to go)! I walked more in March than in January or February, too! Now, all I need is for the weight to start to come off a bit faster--9 pounds in 3 months is OK, but.........

3 miles walking today... and just cuz i was curious about how much walking i get in at work i wore my pedometer today and i was at my desk a lot of the day and still got over 3 miles just running around the building!! but i am not gonna count that.. just intentional walking

I did 1.4 miles on the treadmill tonight while supper was cooking. I know what you mean about pedometer miles. I am a teacher and boy, do I rack up the miles! Between walking from my room in the basement to the 2nd floor for copies, mail, etc. PLUS, the pacing I do around the room trying to keep kids on track and help when they need it! WOW!

I'm finding wearing my pedometer is helping me rack up the miles as opposed to only treadmill/elliptical. Also, with my increased bike-riding, I'm finding I'm walking more too. (There are just SOME hills there's no way I'm doing, low-gear or not!) :bike:

I just did Power Walk 3 miles with 2 pound weights in each hand! I haven't done that one in FOREVER and I'm a sweaty mess, but I feel GOOD!

Im here .. just been busy with work... now with the time change i will have more time in the evenings to get out here and walk..
i wore my pedometer to work one day and just in the morning i had walked over 3 miles i was really amazed cuz i am mostly at my desk but i run messages and stuff all over the building... |
Will have 4 more miles added to that so that makes 63 miles total:)
