Hi
I think a lot of people will tell you to "shake it up" a bit and change your cardio method. I won't be one of those people, though

. I've been doing the elliptical 3 days a week for a LONG time. It's the only cardio I do. In my opinion, "cardio is cardio." The goal is to get your heart rate up, burn off the glucose in your blood, and start tapping into your stored energy (body fat) -- so (again, in my opinion) it doesn't matter if you do the same cardio every day or not, as long as you're getting your heart rate up. I can't stand the stationary bike (or any other cardio machine for that matter) and I despise running. The elliptical is the only cardio I can do without going bananas.
I suggest paying very close attention to the intensity, resistance, and elevation of your elliptical workouts. Be sure that as your cardio strength and stamina improve, you continue to challenge yourself by switching up to higher levels off resistance and elevation.
Do you weight train? I highly recommend it, and that's a whole other story altogether as far as "shaking it up."
Good luck

.
