Yesterday I hauled and stacked wood for 45 minutes, did an hour of yard work, walked the dogs for 45 minutes, did 30 minutes of Pilates, and did all of my physical therapy stretches. Now I'm hoping to get a run in today...
Today is the 1st time I've walked/run in 2 weeks. My husband and I both got out there and did 2 miles then I came home, did some twisting lunges and stretched for about a half hour or so. I actually feel really good.
2 miles down for the month, 38 more to go before Christmas
Biceps, triceps and abs today. Man, have I gotten slack! I was doing tricep kickbacks with 10 lbs but today had to do 5's to get in a decent amount of reps.
Warning! don't take stupid breaks .... for months on end
Thanks Ilene. I've missed you. I really have.
Today with five day split a la Mel, it's quads and hams day. So I did squats, lunges, step ups, leg press, deadlifts and leg extentions. Not much weight but lots of reps. Then I wobbled up to the computer and realized I left my green tea in the kitchen! I wobbled down to get it.
I did chest and calves yesterday (quads and hams on Wed.)and then DH came home with the stuff to paint the kitchen ceiling (we have a wood stove). I am the official cutting-in-er so up and down the ladder I went. My legs were burning. And that's just the primer. Tonight is the real paint!
I'm not sure if I'll do back and abs today. I did do some snow because I had to go to the post office.Ah we'll see how the day goes.
I did do back and abs today. It feels wonderful! I feel taller straighter and slimmer.
My dreadmill has a layer of dust on it so thick, I'd probably clog the works if I tried it
Ah, another day off - the second of 4. I love it! Went to the gym with my DH for a change. Did a full body workout since I hadn't gone earlier in the week due to my lower back spasming. Felt good for most of the exercises though. Then I did a mile on the elliptical and had a nice long shower with someone else's hot water.
Our snow finally stopped last night, and I have to go and get the last 3 inches off the back deck, but until I get ambitious enough to shovel a path to the back shed (where the seed for the bird feeders is, along with suitcases and the like) the shoveling is done. Hard work, I can feel it in my forearms mostly.
