Good Afternoon Walkers!!

It's wonderful to see all you new gals!!! :cp: I am so sorry I cannot stay right now, but I haven't been feeling very well since yesterday early morning (3:30am)... think it's a bug, but it's not hitting me too hard, just with a terrible migraine headache :headache: I could hardly see where I was going yesterday, but Joe took me to the polls and we voted :) then I came home to rest.

Well,.. since i cant stand to watch tv at this point, I did my leslie 1 mile dvd, and im getting ready to try that yoga again :?: wish me luck, I am going to need it

**edited to say that I tried the yoga and it wasnt good,.. laying on my tummy did not agree with me at all and I felt like I was going to fall on my face on the lunge poses. I finally quit about halfway through, but I can tell my upper body got a good stretch though**

I am in for 7.5 yesterday. I have to work all day today so unless I get motivated around 8pm tonight it may be an off day.

Goal for the month is 40 miles or more.

Finally Got Moving....
 
Ok Guys I havent done squat so far.... I have not been sleeping well so in the morning I just bypass the exercise thing saying I will do it tonight.... NOT!!!

Every night this week I haven't been able to get to sleep before 3am so I am dragging in the morning.... This morning when my husband lovelingly wakes me up (not) @ 7:30 to ask if 'these were the only contacts that he had' because I apparently hide them from him. I was then awake with 4 hours of sleep feeling yucky.... laid in bed for about an hour and then it finally kicked in that instead of sitting there channel surfing and watching QVC which I have started watching like it is entertainment when I dont even buy anything I decided I was just going to get up and DO IT!

So this morning I did my 2 WATP dvd. YEAH!!!!!! :D :smug: :^: :p :) . And I have to admit that I feel pretty good right now. A little smug..... OK alot smug, and actually proud of myself.

Now if I can just remember this feeling so that tomorrow morning I get my fanny out of bed and do it again! I also now have 6 miles to make up for in this month so I will have to find a way to get more in in the evening or on Sundays... I will get my 50 miles in this month....

Everyone else looks like that they are doing really great!!!! Way to Go!!!!

HEATHER - Way to Go on the Yoga thing.... when I 1st started doing yoga (when I was doing yoga) it was impossibly hard for me and I would get so discouraged and frustrated but I kept at it.... then one day I realized I had made it thru the whole workout without dying..... and I was impressed!!! It also really helped with the stress! So keep it up... Yoga definetely goes in baby steps!

Good job Angel! I enjoyed reading your post. :) Thats a great way to use your time if you can't get any more sleep in anyway. Good for you! I agree with you. I exercised last night and I wished then that I could remember today how good I feel when I actually go to the gym! But its sooooo easy to blow it off, especially when its been so cold and rainy here (ok cold for Texas is 50-60 degrees). Anyway.

Who'll Stop the Rain?
 
Walked to work this morning, but an hour later mother nature opened the floodgates. It poured the rest of the day, so it wasn't fit to walk home. (Had to take the bus, and the driver had the heat cranked up too high :mad: )
I plan to make up another mile on the treadmill once I log off. Co-workers have brought in their leftover Halloween candy and so far I have resisted!! :D :D There's what looks like a 10 lb bag of Hershey's Kisses in the fridge in our department, and so far I've had the power to stare it down :smug: :smug: (You will not defeat me, little foil wrapped ones! :lol: )

well I did end up doing another 3.3 miles of walking today which brings me up to 14.6 and I have only 85.4 left to go!!
