For me and through my Jazzercise class--we use hand weights--balls and bands for about 15-20 minutes per class. We also do floor exercises for abs--butts--hips and thighs. It's not free weights like I think some of you are doing--but it keeps the body firm and sculptured. The other part of the one hour class is dance cardio/aerobics--(my favorite part--of which I do 4 times a week--5 times if I am feeling "gung-ho")
For me, I've got to have fun when I exercise. My husband works out in our gym downstairs--and he has about everything, weights--treadmill--elliptical---I just get a little bored with machines, and changing weights around.
