Go runners go!
So proud of each and every one of us!
Hope you are feeling better! Don't push yourself too hard when you get back to running, your lungs could be sore a bit longer even if you feel better.

I've researched the causes and there's such a range that it's hard to speculate on what exactly it is. Right now I don't think it's super serious. I'm closely monitoring it though. I really don't want to stop now
3k already?! OMG you are doing so good! What speed are you running at? You may want to take it easy while you are getting the hip pain. It could be anything from your shoes to your pace or something else, just be careful!
Lurk all you want, Silverfire!! Don't worry about the breaks, take them as you need them. Better than hurting yourself. You should be in great shape for September!

Silverfire: You can do it!!!!!
I'm not gonna be able to run today (bad weather). It's supposed to be nice outside tomorrow so I'll go for sure. I'm a bit nervous since I haven't run since Thursday, but I didn't want to risk getting a bad injury. My thigh muscle and my knee no longer hurt so that's good.

It went really well too. I ran 3.59 km total so I'm slowly getting closer to 5K. And I didn't feel any pain in my knee or thigh so all is good. I'm glad I took a few days off.
Next up is the 22 minutes run!!!
Great job, Angelic!! Glad you aren't hurting anymore, sometimes a break can be good even though mentally it drives us crazy. Good luck on the 22!

I finished W7D1 earlier today which meant I finally did my 20 minute run! I kept track of how far I went during the run only and I hit 2.7km. Which means as long as I can double my time I should get that 5K done in under 40...so much easier said than done.
I'm heading out of town tomorrow night until Sunday. I'm not expecting to get any running done while I'm gone so my plan is to redo this day next Monday and hope I don't lose too much speed/stamina.
Good Luck to everybody the next couple of days and I'll be back next week.
Have a great trip, changergirl! I'm only doing 2.4 miles (including the warm-up and cooldown walks) so I'm not running far at all in my 28 minutes (plus 10 walking) but I don't want to push myself on the speed too much yet. We'll get there!

Can't even believe I'm done with W8D2, I know I always say that but it's true! I amaze myself every single time I run. It did seem like forever for the halfway point to arrive though! My right thigh was starting to get a Charlie horse but somehow I shook it off. I was so afraid I was going to have to stop running (I haven't yet in all this time, what a miracle!)
One more day this week and then it's the final stretch!! Then I have to figure out what I'm going to do next to improve my time and distance, with all of you of course!!
