runthecontinent - I did the modified ones day 1 and 2 of level 2 and then moved on to the regular plank jacks - I think that's the one making my abs sore because I have to hold my core very tight on that one. I do the modifed thrust things in the plank position. If I try the regular version it puts stress on my knees because they are greater than 90 degrees.

L1D5 Done. I'm getting bored with L1 but I don't think I'm ready for L2 just yet. I 'm gonna do the 10 days on L1 first.

Hey there, it's been a while since I posted on here since my little week trip. I hope to get back in the routine again

L2D5 complete. Feeling bleh.

Is there anywhere I could get some advice on this 30 day shred? Where to find it etc? Is it a dvd or...?

I haven't posted every day but I have been exercising every single day the last 6 days i think. Bout to get it done today!

I just had to share cause it made me feel like a million bucks. So, today is day 10 of 30 day for me. I have began eating smaller portions- that fill me up but don't over stuff me. Such a hard concept for me to graps the last 27 years of my life. I gave up everything except water. Sometimes on the weekends I may have a coke or glass of tea and 2 or 3 days out of the week I'll have a special k french vanilla meal replacement shake that O make a smoothie- SO GOOD!

To be honest though, I eat everything I want whenever I want. Just less and not to the point I am bit**ing about how full I am. I do my 30 day shred as well, I've done level 2 two times, but today will the last technical day of level 1 so i will finish with level 1!

I HAD to say all that to say....I am down 4 pounds and not only that- I keep staring in the mirror seeing if anything has changed, looking at the fat and cellulite still jiggle- I was getting a bit disheartened even with the weight drop. But, my manager saw me last night and she came up and said "amber, are you losing alot of weight?" I looked at her and said, "pardon?" she repeated it and said she can tell I'm losing a lot of weight and my stomach is flattening and she was curious what I'd been doing! I was like hot damn! I am doing it! And though I may be discouraged and not see it- ONLY after 10 days of making seriously minor changes people see it! I just had to share, it felt really good. And it gives me hope to wear shorts this summer hopefully with not so flabby cellulite legs! I LOVE JILLIAN MICHAELS!

Last time I did it, I didn't make the lifestyle change. I just exercised and half did it. This time, I am not dieting I am doing what I want to do and can stick with forever- and I'm so happy.

It is a dvd yes, but you can watch it online at youtube from what I've heard as well. I had to do that couple years ago when I couldn't buy the DVD's. You wont regret spending the money and supporting the 30 DS though.

Congratulations ButterCup85!! -4 lbs. and doing it your way. That is fantastic. It is such a great feeling when someone else notices our hard work, when they don't know what we have been up to.

Congrats Buttercup! I think seeing yourself in the mirror everyday stops you from seeing much of the progress. So many people say they didn't think they were changing and then you see their before and after pics and its dramatic. For you that came in the form of another person taking notice and that's just as fabulous. Keep up the great work!!!

L2D8 complete! I was able to move into my 8 pound weights for the first time on Level 2. I used them for everything except the chair squat/shoulder V raise combo (I stuck with the 5s there). It felt good to move the weight up but made a significant impact on my fatigue level.

bunnabear, I moved up to 5 lb wts from 3.5lbs. I had to switch back on the second set of chair squat/v shoulder raises.

L1D6 Done.

L2D9 complete! I used my 8 lb weights for everything today. I previewed level 3 and yikes...I'll be moving back to 5s for sure for that.
