I feel the same way, Joanne, I could never do it without a CD. I've tried, and the time seems to stand still. I made a CD of 80s music, I find that works better for me. I included songs I really like and I ONLY listen to it when I'm on the treadmill. When I'm tempted to stop, I'll hear another favorite song begin, and will want to keep going for just one more song. The minutes can add up quickly that way!
I've walked an hour a day 4 days this week.



Sorry to hear about your arthritis and such but you are an inspiration to me by just getting out there and walking--gritting your teeth and doing it anyway. Way to go. You'll make that goal I'm sure. Congrats on maintaining your loss too.
Hello everyone. I've been pretty consistent w/walking at least 5 days a week, M-F after work. I get in an hour and 5-10 minutes depending on speed and usually rack up about 3.5 miles. Weight loss has been at a standstill for about a month but I have lost a few inches, so hooray for small miracles.

I messed up my back somehow and it has been bothering me for the past 2 weeks. I went to the Chiropractor today and I have 3 vert. that are compacted. He was ablt to loosen them up a bit but they are really tight. I have to go back on Monday. He said it should be about 5 or 6 visits to loosen everything up. I did walk for 40 minutes the other day and payed for it later in the day. I feel best when I am in the new LazyBoy and have it reclined. This way the pressure is off my spine.
