There are a lot of threads about people talking about what exercise they love to do so I thought it would be interesting to see what exercise you absolutely hate to do but do it anyway.
I hate doing (bent elbow) planks. They are boring and monotonous IMO. Although I've slowly worked my way up to being able to do it for about 45 seconds but it's still not my favorite exercise. I've tried switching it up with side planks, lifting your leg (alternating back and forth) yet I'd rather be doing something like reverse crunches, lol. I can't complain because they do work albeit I just do them begrudgingly.
I also hate HIIT style running and get really annoyed when I read the thousands of articles touting HIIT as "better than jogging." I jog because it's relaxing and I couldn't care less about my heart rate and burning the most calories, blah blah blah.
push-ups...and anything non-yoga that involves plank position (including mountain climbers, those weird lizard things my yoga instructor tried to get me to do....and don't even get me started on burpees eeeeew!)
I HATE ab work of any kind. Unfortunately, it's what I need the most (maybe that's why I hate it!). I am also not a fan of aimless walking. If I have a destination, I'll walk miles, but to just walk for the sake of exercise bores the crap out of me.
