Default Wii For exercising

I own a Wii and really love Just Dance and Dance Dance Revolution. I play an hour of Just dance one day and then An hour of DDR the next and continue all week long switching them up ...any other good games like that out for wii, I get kinda bored with balance board games....
I also walk 3 miles almost everyday...
I want to start Running these 3 miles, but I'm just not comfortable yet, don't want the whole town watching my fat jiggle around while I'm running. ( Yes I am very self cautious )

Hey Hartz, I understand about worrying about people looking at ya...I feel the same. I love Just dance, and they are coming out with a 2nd one now too! Also, I just got the Zumba game for the Wii, I haven;t tried it yet but Zumba just looks like a lotta fun! There's a walking one I've hard of too that people seem to like as well as workout ones in general like biggest loser and jilliam michaels. Those are all I can think of for now....let me know what you think or if you hear of any more fun ones!

We did Wii Fit Plus and now Walk it Out.

Not finished yet, but I'd be interested to hear other titles too.

I got bored fast with Wii Fit/Plus. And I didn't like the EA Sports Active one (the layout of it just didn't do it for me). I'm very picky when it comes to my gaming in general. I would be interested in walk it out or DDR. I just can't exercise when someone else is home. My mother is very nosy and always says when she can hear me. She is also always home, and never has the same sleeping pattern from one day to the next, and I like to have a set schedule when it comes to things. So for now I stretch (it's quiet).

I have Wii Fit- it was okay. EA Sports Active is good - I like setting up my own workouts but SO annoying sometimes when it doesn't register my moves and I just end up getting frustrated or sore, lol.

I'm thinking about getting Zumba or Just Dance 2.

canadian cutie, you could do strength training. like squats, lunges..there's a million different moves on about dot com. lots of pictures too. there's lots of equip you could make at home too. like using water jugs for weights, or any container. then put water or sand in it. i'm sure there's info about home made equip. somewhere on this forum. wish i could be more help.

i have wii fit. it was ok, but i need to make it more challenging. most strength moves are hard to add weight to. it's just not hard enough for me. except running.

we have DDR2. i rarely play, the kids love it! and great for parties too.

The best workout game of all the ones I've tried has been The Biggest Loser Challenge. I've actually stuck with it and stayed interested, rather than the novelty wearing off or getting frustrated with it. It gives a great workout and has lots of ways to customize your workout to your needs. Check it out!

This, specifically when you're playing boxing or one of the step variations. I like Wii fit despite it though, especially the "calorie counter". Right now I use the Wii fit and some of the games as a warm up before I lift or smack the bag around.

totally agree about the calorie counter! that is so frustrating. i just ran for 30 mins, i burned more then 250 calories. and sweating buckets. i think there's a max on it or something.

Hello-

My favorite workout is the new EA Active 2 workout with the heart rate monitor..I really love it and I get a great workout and I have created my own step aerobics workout which I absolutely love also so I would definately give this game a thumbs up!
