I actually left her class after 10 minutes the first time I went - vowing to never attend her class again! But I gave it another try because her class is ALWAYS packed - so I figured there must be something there.

fitkristi: I'm curious as to what turbokick is? Is it like a kickboxing class?

That is the nice thing about my local YMCA - all of the classes I'm taking are included in my membership.

@joyfulloser sorry for your loss dear. heaven knows it's hard to get back on plan after something like that. it took me almost a two months to totally commit to my plan again when i lost my father in august. you're amazing.

Thanks ladies!

The way I figured it...I could spend all day lying on the floor in a pool of my own tears while the dog looks down on me with pity and licks up my tears or I could get up...and LIVE!!! I chose to LIVE...besides working running is a major stress reliever for me. Who knew? LOL:p

fitkristi 11-08-2010 07:47 PM

@joyfullloser - I'm so sorry for you loss. Good for you for jumping back in!

I had my big workout day today, with two classes back to back. I need to eat a granola bar or banana or something in between because I kind of ran out of steam toward the end of the 2nd class (turbokick).
