We bought our jogger about 6 years ago, and boy have we logged a lot of miles on that sucker. And we got a cheap one b/c my DH didn't think I would use it!
I don't use an ipod when I jog anyways, but I would second what Ennay says about not using one while on the road with the jogger. I attached a couple little toys to the jogger with those
plastic links so my little ones would have something to play with. On my best days I remember to bring a sippy cup, and don't forget the suncreen for little one.
I also load my jogger with snacks for baby, but I have always chuckled at the irony of feeding her/him to stave off boredom, so I can run off the calories I ate when I was bored.
A trainer at the gym pointed out what Ennay mentioned about injury. He suggested pushing with one hand and pumping the other, switching sides throughout the run, as opposed to running with both hands on the stroller at all times.
I know some women wear two jog-bras at a time for better support. For better or for worse, never a problem for flat-chested me (even while breastfeeding). ~sigh~
Have fun!
