Default What To Eat Before Training

I recently had to change the time that I train with my trainer and think I am not eating correctly before I train. I now train at 11:00 and have been eating some protein around 10:00. I don't like to eat to much before I train. However, the last two times I trained at 11:00 I was slightly dizzy while training. Should I eat protein before training or should I eat carbs? I haven't asked my trainer yet, but thought I would check with all of you first.

Were you training later before? For me, dizziness during exercise is almost always related to dehydration. If you tend to not get much of your water in in the morning, or you've only had coffee, that could explain it.

I always eat a protein and a carb an hour or two before and 30-60 mins after, training. Unless I train super early in the morning, then I just have coffee

Thanks for your reply. Actually I trained both earlier and later before. When it was earlier i ate breakfast an hour before. When it was later I lunch an hour before. Now I eat breakfast 4 hours before and have a protein an hour before. It might be some dehydration because it is so hot here lately, but I do drink a lot of water while at the gym.
