I did it!

  • I exercised for 45 minutes straight! I put on some (LOL) Rick Springfield, Dirty Dancing and Shania Twain and got moving! I danced, did aerobic moves, calesthenics and a little weight lifting with my dumbbells. My heart rate was up and I was sweating my hiney off! I feel great! I feel energized! A huge difference between today and the last time I did something this strenuous (fitness class) - I don't feel like dying!

    The only exercise I have done since I began my journey to health 8 weeks ago has been some minor 10-15 minute walks around the neighborhood and treading water/swimming casual laps at the pool when I take the kids swimming. I think I am going to make it my goal to do this at least 3 times a week!
