Default 30DS AND jogging? One or the other?

I have the 30DS videos.. they are really good, but should I combine them with something else the days I do them?

I have a treadclimber too and also have access to a track. I went for the first time today and did two miles and I loved it. So I will definitely be doing that again.

So I guess my question is, should I do the jogging/treadmill AND the video? Or is jogging for the day enough and just add the video when I can?

TIA!

I do the 30DS videos and the ski machine every day, along with the weight machine for both arms and legs every other day. YMMV

I would do the Shred one day and jog/bike/cross train the next, alternating the two....

Thank you for the replies! I am thinking about rotating.. I posted in a 30DS thread and I just get bored with it doing it daily. So I think 30DS one day, my treadclimber the next, then 30DS then go to the track.

I think why I failed before with exericse is that I got burnt out on doing the same thing. This will hopefully keep me going!

Thanks again

I would do them separately, or double up every couple of days. I don't think 30 DS is quite enough of a workout sometimes. My heart rate doesn't really get up until 10 minutes are left in the workout.

I agree with Ilene and rotate the two. That way it'll mix things up and keep it from getting boring. You don't want to overdue it and burn out.

You should change your workouts at least every 4-6 weeks, it prevents plateaus from happening...

Ilene Thanks for the advice. My doctor even told me not to do the same thing all the time. He said change it up... diet too. He even told me to do a liquid diet sometimes, but I'm not sure about that one.
