Hi everyone :)

I just finished the leg workout that I missed yesterday. Boy was it tough!! I had to skip about 1/2 of the ploymetric moves, as I am just not ready for them. My quads were burning!!! So, instead I did an extra set of the weight work. I still got an awesome workout but was a bit disappointed that I had to alter the workout. Definately something for me to work towards!

:cheer2: Way to go Ronni, Onderchic, Echo, and TravellingMichele :cheer3:

Oh and thanks for the get well wishes :) I am feeling a lot better. This cold is still lingering, but it's not wiping me out like it did yesterday.

Have a wonderful night everyone!

September 18: C25K W2D2
September 19: 50 minutes of power yoga
September 20: C25K W2D3 (will do 20 minutes of pilates later on)

This week was rough because I gained even though the eating was under control and I added in exercise, but I feel like I'm somewhat back in the exercise zone and I'm happy about that. I might re-do C25K W2 this week but I'll see how it goes.

I'm trolling Amazon for new exercise dvds to do on my off days between C25K or before bed. I don't want anything too high impact (moderately high impact is fine) because I want to work out 7 days a week (because having rest days is what makes me give myself excuses not to exercise later on in the week). I already have 5-mile Walk at Home, 30 Day Shred (which I'll do after C25K), Windsor Pilates and a power yoga dvd. Any suggestions? I'm looking at a Callanetics one but I'm not sure...

Onederchic 09-20-2009 01:05 PM

I have all of TBL DVDs, 3 Jillian Michaels' DVDs, 2 DVDs by Billy Blanks and some by Leslie Sansone.

Congrats on your workouts as well :cheer3::cb:

Good afternoon :)

This morning I did my weight workout, (STS, meso 3, week 2 - shoulders, biceps, triceps = 64 mins), and tonight I am going to try to make the time to do a short cardio workout. I think I need to do more cardio in order to drop the weight a little quicker. So I am going to try to add in 2 more cardio workouts a week.

Echo, that is awesome! I remember dreading YogaX because it was so long, but I sure felt good afterward.

Roni, :woohoo: Good for you for working so hard to get those 3 lbs off. You rock!!

onderchic, your workouts continue to impress me. 90 minutes of cardio is just awesome!!

toastedsmoke, I have a lot of dvd workouts. Are you looking for a circuit type workout or pure cardio or strength? A great place to look for exercise dvd's is at http://www.collagevideo.com You can see clips of the dvd's and they break down the minutes for each workout.

EZ great job with your walk today!

Cape welcome back :) Great job with your workouts!

Diva 09-20-2009 06:03 PM
