She has straight up told me that she wasn't working out any longer, almost everytime we talk she makes the statement of how she hasn't worked out in weeks.
And I can't thank you enough for the pep talk. I really needed that! I try not to compare, but I find myself being a bit competitive. Although being competitive with someone that seems to always exaggerate the truth is not healthy for me, I should've known better. Thank you, you are awesome :) |

Oh gosh you're so wonderful ! What a motivator you are :)
That is great idea, I am going to do that !!! Making weekly goals would be really good for me, now I'll just try to figure out what goal would be realistic but at the same time push me to get it done. I guess over the next few weeks I'll just adjust it so that it's a good goal and not way too much or way too little :) Thanks for the great idea Echo ! |

After skipping out yesterday, I hit the treadmill this evening for 30 minutes and did 5 minutes of free weights.

Great job everyone!! :carrot::cheer:
Plans today = nothing again :D |
Morning girls :sunny:
Yesterday - Weight Training - completed Today - Ab Ripper X and Treadmill WSChick, I agree with Echo, focus on yourself and your goals. Who knows what's driving your friend to say things like that to you. She could be jealous of your success, unmotivated or competitive, hence, trying to sabotage your efforts. You've done well so far...lost 9lbs!! Soon it will become 19lbs lost, then 29lbs and so on. Keep up the good work and make sure you stay away from her for the time being if she's hurting your efforts rather than helping you move forward. There comes a time in life where you decide what is important to you? Your health or her toxic friendship? She can take the backseat for now. And, that pizza will catch up with her...it always does. Have a wonderful OP day everyone :) |
Way to go, pintobean! :cheer3:

30 minutes Elliptical
5 min's on the Stationary Bike. I don't like that much.... sit-ups |

I could have sworn that I posted this morning. How strange :dizzy:
Anyway, my plan for today is do a step workout and some floorwork for my legs. Wschick, I think you have gotten some great advice. Try to remind yourself that you are losing the weight in a safe and healthy way. When you reach your goal, think of how fit and toned you will be! Your friend won't be if she keeps eating pizza and not working out. :cheer: Keep up the great work everyone. The minutes are really adding up! :cheer: |
:cheer3:You all are doing great today, way to go !
Pinto and Narnia, thank you very much for the words of advice and motivation. I'm so happy that I found this awesome site with such wonderful people. You all truly are what motivates me ! I plan on talking to her a lot less for right now, I still want to be nice to her of course, so I can't totally ignore her (although sometimes I want to....lol) But I'll keep our conversations shorter in hopes that I don't have to hear the bragging lies. I don't get why she feels the need to do that, I definitely don't do that when I talk to her. In fact I don't even feel the need to tell her about every pound that I lose so why does she think she needs to tell me about all the ones she supposedly lost. Just trying to make herself feel better I suppose....LOL Thank you gals so much, you're a great group of motivators ! Going to start my first session right now :) |
Been doing average hour and a half of cardio every day since sept 7th.... tried picking up the pace on a challenging program on my treadmill but i hurt my one leg two days ago. Yesterday I continued doing it, but I decided I need to let it heal. I'm half limping around, it sucks. :(

--- today i did 2 sessions on the exercise bike. :ebike: total minutes clocked in at 33 minutes. also whilst on the bike i was listening to jillians podcast, and she was saying how when you are on a diet, calorie deficit and all that, a way to combat your body from slowing down your metabolism, is to exercise! as exercise releases fat burning hormones! |

Hi everyone, alright so I'm hoping that if I write it, I'll do it:
Plan for the Day: Re-start C25K: About a 3weeks to a month ago, I was midway through W3 but I think I'll start again from W2D1 or W1D3 and see how that goes. Clean living area: This is exercise right? and also will serve the purpose of me being able to do floor exercises again as well as combat dust allergies. 30 mins of yoga before bed: If I do the above two, I'll be fine if I don't get to do this. But I'd really like to, so I'm going to. I'll update later on whether I was on plan. |
Awesome britt!! :cheer2:
