Hi everyone. This thread seems to have died but I have an update so I thought I'd post. I am running 15 of 20 minutes right now! And I will hit running all 20 minutes within the month! Yay for reaching goals! Also, I am planning on continuing to up my cardio by adding some time on the stair climber machines too!

Hope everyone else is having success too!!!

Took the dogs out for 2 miles after work while Angie went to a fundraiser my dil had for the dance team she coaches at the high school she teaches at.

Sorry been MIA. I got a bad cold and have been coughing up my lungs. I did go to the gym today and did weights and a total of 2.25 miles. I ran 1.5 miles and that was about all I could do. Still not feeling great, but I wasn't about to go much more than a week without working out!

On the 22nd I reached my goal of running for the full 20 minutes! Now, I'm upping my intensity and incline. How is everyone else doing?

Man being sick really buts a wrench in the old mileage goals. I did weights Sunday night while watching the 24 movie. I am going to get on the TM this afternoon though. I wish I could just stop being sick already!

Went to the pool this evening to go to swim team practice and some kid had pooped in the pool and it had just closed. GRRR! Came home and did weights instead. Tomorrow's another day!

Finally back at the gym. Not 100% but good enough to work hard. Ran 2 miles, walked a half mile and then did a half mile on the stairmaster (ouch). 3 total.

Ok I missed yesterday's wussy update. Swam 1/4 mile yesterday and then I ran 1.75 miles today outside. Both times I had to stop due to coughing from this cold that won't go away. Trying for the 5k tomorrow indoors because I can't stop coughing outside.

Angie and I did a 5K this morning with the mutts...have 4 miles total between the race and the trip to and from the car and our warm-ups..and boy do I need the miles after what I ate....yum-o

I was determined to do the Turkey Trot this weekend despite my cold, so I ventured outside this afternoon for a total of 3.5 miles. HAd to stop running a few times to cough or feel nauseous (bad thanksgiving food) but I made it haha. Came home and did weights afterward. Not too shabby for a Friday!

Angie and I did our coffee walk with the dogs this morning. Gonna be way short this month...but many more miles than I did 2 years ago in November...probably zilch! Last year I had 58 miles for the month so I guess I am so-so for this month.
