I only did 20 minutes of cardio today. I just started my "you know what" and it's been kicking my butt! Oh! On the upside, I weigh myself every Saturday and as of this morning, I've officially lost 70 pounds and got to add another little cheerleader to my "pep squad". :D

BlzMaxGnrCCJkMly 03-15-2008 11:16 PM

Ilene, thanks for the "luck"! My mission is to jog the whole distance, and I think (hope) I'm ready!

StillTryin, WTG on the jogging! I could barely run the 1 minute segments when I started the C25K, so I know that getting 6 minutes in is a huge accomplishment!

Glad to see everyone is up and running, even if only a little bit.

Still
I am so sorry to hear you still aren't feeling better. It takes a long time sometimes to get over that kind of thing. Just getting the body moving a bit is better than nothing. You keep that in mind and take care of yourself.

maryea
I don't do my walking/aerobic videos on the weekends generally. Between spending up to 6 hours shopping and up and down the stairs doing laundry. I figure I get a workout anyway and everyone should have a day off a week.

manda
Oh my gosh you poor thing on both counts. I think we can forgive you for not exercising today or tomorrow even lol. I sure hope you feel better.

StillTryin 03-17-2008 09:15 PM

OK I went to the gym tonight.....did 15 on the elliptical, 20 on the treadmill and 10 on the weights...

My daughter got put in the hospital today, she is ok, and will be released tomorrow...so I went to see her and then headed to the gym since she was sleeping..then I went back and she was still sleeping....at least she is getting rest.

I should be back to the gym tomorrow unless I have to leave for work early....

I can not believe how much I really enjoy working up a good sweat!

Calejo 03-17-2008 09:41 PM

Manda, you impress me! I doubt I'd be able to go through that and still work out.
