Since I got a new treadmill this week is it OK to jump in with you gals?

I would like to be able to do a 5K each day so we shall see ~

So far for the month I have 18 1/4 miles in and it took me 302 minutes. Stop :lol: ENNAY

I guess my goal would be to do a 5K for 27 days with a day off for rest each week. So that would be almost 84 miles.

Well, 1 is better than 0... It's been very hot here and my back injury has flared up, making me reluctant to walk to work carrying my laptop. But I'm planning to walk to get bagels early early in the morning tomorrow, before it gets hot. And then to drop my laptop off at work tomorrow afternoon so that I can walk to work on Monday without it...

After reading everyone's recommendations for WATP I purchased some dvd's - the walk and jog and the walk and kick. They arrived yesterday and I have just done the two of them this morning. They were great :)

I am using them as part of my 10 000 steps per day goal.

So thanks to everyone for their inspiration... loads of best walking wishes to everyone!
