I used to skip over this thread cause I thought I was too big and out of shape. I have been walking on the treadmill for about a month now. I do 30 minutes for 1.5 miles. I would love to try a 5k someday. You gals are really isnpirational.
Welcome Karen68!!! Your goal to participate in a 5k is wonderful! After you've been walking on your treadmill for a while and are making some progress, you should check out the couch potato to 5k program.
I haven't gotten a walk in as of yet. Going to try and do a bunch of 10-15 minute walks in between doing other stuff and running errands. Will post later or tomorrow.
